A bit confused. You list a second poll already assuming that the majority will want rares introduced to '07. You seem to be assured that this will happen. I'm not sure what threads you are looking at but the ones I've seen a large proportion seem to be against re-introducing rares at all.

Besides I find the way you are wording questions doesn't make enough distinction between the rares that were always tradable and those of a later date that were never tradeable.

Anyway I find how this was written a bit of a problem and silly as I am I'd ask you to go back and look at how you want to ask these questions in a poll. If you have had any type of statistical training we know that you can weight the poll to what you would prefer. Please don't do that.

If you have already decided to add rares back then don't bother pretending to poll for it. Let's not let this be another Wildy/FT poll that was anything but honest.

Personally, I haven't formed an opinion of how they should be introduced if they are re-introduced. I'm not even sure I want them back in this era of game, though I've leaned against them being put back into '07. No matter I know I want the poll to be done well and not misleading in either questions or answers. I want to know that this poll will not be influenced by throw away accounts. This is an important decision that the economy of the game depends on. Be careful how you ask about this.

as I read thru the posts from every one ... I stop at page 7.. it occurred to me..

why has no one asked why the second vote is ...

needed if the vote to add Rare's is no... the mods did not say a word about this

and why is the vote set up to end the first poll during the morning of one day and the second poll to start immediately afterwards
its a strange way to start and end a poll
it seems funny to me that they assume the vote to add them in the first place is a sure bet.

I also point of the first poll first question is not a fair question

it does not distinguish between rare tradable or discontinued untradeable items

saying that part I want to point out they wrote a paragraph about exactly which items were tradable and which were not.. so.. to continue

so lets say people don't want tradable in the game but they did want the non tradable in.. .. they have to vote yes even though they disagree with the tradable..

the discontinued non tradable items doesn't effect the game.. how ever the tradable does effect the game

now the second question does ask if they want them to be tradable or not tradable..

this question never answers which items will be tradable and which ones wont be...

now this point is not mute.. because I refer back to question one.. it just classifies the whole group as rare items in the game.. it does not tell if there is a difference

and here is the problem.. because people who did not want the tradable in the game cant not express that they don't want tradable items in the game. Its too late... they already are if the vote passes..

I understand this is confusing ... but the mods made a whole paragraph about which items were which. now based on how the questions are being asked.. why did they bother to wrote the paragraph in the first place.. it doesn't matter which item is which if they are going to be all classified as tradeable .. or non tradable.

don't even get me star

I disagree with the tactics of distributing the rares to every player/distributing them through seasonal events. (If rares get voted through)

The reason they are seen as 'rare' in the first place is because a big chunk of the player base don't have them (making them desirable). They wouldn't be seen as rare if every person had multiple amounts of them.

I support either of these two methods:

A:
Dropping them
[in random areas] worldwide for a certain amount of time (like back then). This would ensure that not everybody gets one, but everybody still has a chance.

B:
Have them introduced through skilling/pvm
as a rare occurrence (for a limited amount of time). This would also ensure that the entire player base doesn't obtain multiple amounts of every rare.

The clue scroll method is a bit tricky because most clue scrolls have certain requirements, which new players/special accounts (such as skillers) sometimes wouldn't be able to complete.

As long as they are introduced in a way that doesn't flood the game with them (so they can remain 'rare'), then I'm fine with it.

Release all items same way as originally or not all. Yet I see people claim how this encourages cheating but I think proplem exists regardless as we can see current game.

I feel like I am forced to vote no, because there is no way know which way we get them and I want them them be release exactly way they did before especially dc items.

We can get rares if people are more enough open minded but if not I doubt see them go to the game.

Obviously everyone who plays needs a fair chance of getting them but in order to be rares there must be limited numbers. So basically every timezone needs a chance to get them just limited numbers all the time.

'I feel like I am forced to vote no, because there is no way know which way we get them'

This ^ sums it up nicely.

Jagex, why are you forcing us to vote no on the first question.

NO to returning rares, because you have the questions backwards.

I'm very happy to vote no to rares as they add nothing good to the game.

They were not ever meant to be rare.

They lead to being sold for real money.

A rare in eoc runescape is buyable with real money directly through gambling on Jagex wheel.

They are in no way shape or form fun.
