This is absolutely disgraceful, this is literally the worst thing I have ever read for Old School, EVER. Shame on you. 50k cap? So people can just take their best gear and never lose anything except a measly 50k? Guess Dragon Axe will remain at alch value. Oh yeah and 20 mins that freezes when logged off? So what's the risk then? There's still ZERO risk. Why even bother changing the mechanics? Don't even, just leave it as is. You accomplished NOTHING.

Separate death mechanics for UIM? Why not make it harder for regular accounts then? Give us back old death mechanics with maximum 5 minute timer (which could freeze when logged off or DC'd).


By the way, what is this? "We proposed adding an option to boost combat stats to 99 (it wouldn't affect the equipment you're able to wield, and you wouldn't gain XP). The feedback we received was that it didn't feel particularly Old School. We've opted not to proceed with this approach."


Fair enough. Then allow me to inform you of this VERY simple and clear fact. Gravestones ARE NOT OLD SCHOOL. So perhaps following the same logic, you will opt not to proceed with that very reprehensible piece of Easyscape content.

Apparently not when it comes to a bunch of cry babies that don't want to lose any items, ever, and want death to be considered as much a joke as it is in RS3.

Maybe you should try reading more carefully before making such an uninformed post.

Quit disrespecting RS3's death mechanics. Even they have risk with their grave system. Ours is far inferior and this is just pathetic.
