2- Community:
PvP RSC and RSB clans, the community that are formed around multiplayer PvP have lost a lot over the years with Jagex turning a blind eye on the wilderness. Everyone at Jagex HQ knows this. They tried to fix this issue with failed content such as the Crucible and now they're trying again with War Bands. It is a lost cause. The PvP community has lost interest in EoCScape. The damage is done. It can't be repaired. OSRS is the last refuge PvP clans have before they get annihilated completely from Runescape. PvP clans need a healthy and highly rewarding wilderness to thrive. PvM can take that away easily.
3- Overpowered Weapons:
Overpowered godswords, armours, etc are what started the PvM spree and power lust of wanting
more and more
of everything. The weapons due to their high stats, compared to the low healing food and hit point levels in the game, were over powered and rendered the wilderness unbalanced. 1-itemers with no risk at all rushing and killing fully armoured pkers that actually risked something is what tipped the balance of the wilderness. The items need to be heavily nerfed to gain even a hint of approval from real old players.
4- Slippery Slope:
As I said before, PvMscape and PvPscape cannot co-exist. Once PvMscape starts, it will not end there. PvM'ers will want something more powerful once they have their prized GWD items in abundance. Itemhoarding will be in full swing and it will end up with players wanting the Corporeal Beast. Divine shields will be the next stop. It will not stop there, people will want curses and summoning next to make it easy for them to Corp. My question is, where do you draw the line? Only Jagex can answer that. I'd rather stop this nonsense by voting No from the start instead of waiting to see an uncertain future.
These are the four main
non negotiable
issues
I have with GWD. I will vote
No
