Sounds good but please DO NOT add the gwd dungeon. The weapons are just too overpowered and that's what led to the downfall of Pking, even before the wild was removed. Also as for new content, please do not add any. This is an old school server, we don't want ANY new content, that's the point.

Now I'm worried, and I feel a bit misled about all the initial conversation from JMods that made GWD look near impossible.


If ever GWD shows up in a poll I will vote NO.

One of the biggest draws of Old School was NOT having a completely overbalanced meleescape.

The timepoint this is in had what many of us consider to be the single BEST BALANCE between the three combat classes in the history of the game.

If you are in favour of Godwars it is because:

(a) Even though you are a "veteran" you were never happy with ranged or magic.

In which case: Think about someone besides yourself and think about how
these items affected gameplay after.

OR

(b) You don't remember before Godwars, really, and you just remember the release of flashy high end weapons that hit really high!

In which case: That's not what interesting balanced combat is all about, and
you really might prefer EoC after all.

Keep Old School, old school.

Really? another poll for F2p pking? The only reason why we voted for old school Runescape is for the old school F2p pking. You seemed to be scared to offer an F2p world because you know that more than half of the players would end their subscription. Well you have achieved your dream of keeping everything members, and now you won't give us what we need? I would like to give Jagex some tips before its too late: Runescape started losing its value since the end of the wilderness in 2007. If you won't give back the F2p pking within a week or so, then count the amount of unsubscribes and you will know what I mean. Runescape used to be the #1 FREE TO PLAY game, and now it's time that Runescape gives out this title. WE WANT F2P PKING AND NOTHING ELSE.
HAHAHA, Do you not read? F2P Pking worlds on OSR would be MEMBERS ONLY anyhow... Fool.

GWD wouldn't be bad, but I think it should be added in the future. Adding it too soon would have a huge impact on this fresh new economy (supplies, weapons, and armor). Whips are barely entering the market. Prices of supplies just continue to rise. It should be added, but not now.

P.S. - LOL, these slippery slope fallacies forum posters never seizes to amaze me. You can't expect most people to just be satisfied at 70 attack or 75 defense. People WILL want new gear. It gives them an incentive to continue building their character. If you halt the game and kept it the way it is now, never adding a major content update, it'll just eventually rot away. Guaranteed.

Also, I believe a lot of the population wanted pre-EoC, but due to the fact, that this was the only backup version they had, it was something we had to settle on.

good work but please jagex make the f2p worlds back irs all my memories i like the pk so much and fletching fishing helblore smithing (runescim) all skills what makes the market better for p2p people cuz f2p worlds we need lobsters swordfish str pots arrows tho pk etc people what not wanna go tho the worlds just stay out but i love it the most thx jagex please all peope vote yes in the new poll you have nothng tho lose :)

I am absolutely loving Old School Runescape, but I think we all need to take one step back and remember why we voted for it: to bring back the game HOW IT WAS in August of 2007 and to KEEP it that way.

All these "future content updates" like GWD or "updates to make the game flow more smoothly" such as fixing the pathing issue, I am completely against.

We do NOT want a million updates into 07 RS so that in a year it becomes 08-09 RS, that isn't the point Jagex. Work on anti-botting, work on keeping things the way they are, and that is all this community needs/wants. 07 RS is supposed to STAY 07 RS, you are doing a tremendous job thus far but don't fall into this trap of thinking you need to release new updates to appease this community.
