one of the worst updates I've experienced I cant even finish off 1 demon without getting pked and ofc the pvp clans no doubt worked or are working together with one another to get their capes to use against others not the best idea to make the demons multi only I only have so much supplies /gear that can be wasted towards that if an update like this can happen surely a couple ironman only worlds or something similar could exist?

I would love to see a poll are you satisfied with the caves?


I'm sure atleast 50% of people would say no. I honestly never thought they would release the update with no special drops. Instead they just have million dollar coin piles.

Hello. First of the things i wanna say that i like the rev caves.. But i think theres should be more reward to go there for normal players, ironmans and for everybody. So i suggest that revenants would drop scroll or potion or something that you can imbue your magic cape instead of giving it for free by completing 10 minutes miniquest. Mage arena 2 would be requirement to use this cape. This would bring more point and reward to kill revenants and would be more interesting way to get the new cape.

JaGex: Let's nerf zulrah as it's drop table is overpowered and it could break the economy...
Also JaGex: Let's make Revenants have a chance to drop 500 noted battlestaves or 100 dragon platelegs/skirts...

The idea is excellent. The revenants were excellent. But these drops are simply absurd. The market will be affected by it. And not in a good way.
These absurd drops should've, at least, been polled. "We're going to replace ancient pvp armours with alchables" is not the same thing as "congratulations, you just got 16m in alchables in 1 drop"

Or it shouldn't, at least.

After spending more time at revs and taking into consideration the rarity of the higher value drops, I'm beginning to believe that we have been-for the most part, overreacting on the drops. It still should be monitored closely though....don't just wait until 2 years has passed to see if it's a issue as you done with Zulrah. (Although replacing the statuettes and x100 loots with uniques would be a welcome change either way)

However, all of the agility obstacles that you guys decided to randomly plaster around the caves has ruined the content.

The cave layout from pre eoc worked so well, for everyone...why did you ever feel the need to make random, arbitrary changes like these?

These obstacles creates two extremes:

For those with low agility, it makes escape excessively difficult as it cuts off options.
For those with high agility, it makes escape too easy as most pkers will not be able to follow.


So, would you consider removing some of the obstacles? They just get in the way of nearly everyone.

If you wanted the cave to have agility requirements, then you should've just said so, but given the description of them and their location, their only requirements should be reasonably high combat stats and weapons. (and wilderness sense) A bunch of agility obstacles just gets in the way of PvMers and Pkers alike.

Believe magic to only be for support? Think again. It's just as valid of a Pking style as melee and range is.

I was excited when Mage Arena II came out but then quickly discovered that while I thought it was a mini quest to get a new cool cape, it was really just a thinly disguised lure to provide fodder for pkers. Whole clans of pkers, who will pick on one lone person trying to get this new cape.

This sucks.

The new POH wilderness obelisk was implemented without considering that many people who have the ability to add it to their POH have completed/maxed houses. The way it was added to the superior garden hotspot means that we must have two superior gardens to add it and have a spirit tree/fairy ring. There is no point to have more than one superior garden for any other reason than this, and eliminating a normal/formal garden to add an additional superior garden is costly and looks barren in a centrally located part of a POH where one would likely have such existing gardens. So, it would make more sense to have the ability to simply build the obelisk as the central hotspot in a formal garden or increase the maximum house size by one to allow people with maxed houses to add a superior garden for this feature without having to remove/edit existing rooms in the house.
