What a huge disappointment, voting system failure and to top it off the release we get is broken lore and nothing but recolors. The saradomin cape has the infernal capes' shape and is an obvious recolor, you put the demons under gods they don't worship so on your end that's a silly mistake considering it's been driven into both games many times.... But it's just ridiculous and seems sloppy, being recolors and after how many years mage arena has been into the game, there didn't seem to be much thought into MA2.
If you're going to try to keep the game alive, make important decisions Jagex. The system we have is broken and is leading into the reasons why we had to implement the EoC in the first place, which is why things like PvP armours get downvoted yet you weirdly produce a cape with a slow creep of power into the cape slot with the damage boost, as the people above say theres no prayer bonus associated with gods which is weird and it seems after the update the cape simply is unnecessary to begin with, in my opinion. The previous capes were just fine, if anything a small buff to them with a secondary release inside the mage arena would have made much more sense.
It seems you rushed this to get people to run around the wilderness and get killed by people in mystic feasting over rune stack loots, rather than REJUVINATE it. The players obtaining their capes are doing just that; obtaining the cape. It's an annoyance and yes while it's the wilderness, if you keep releasing negative effect activities on people it's not going to rejuvinate anything.
Broken and disappointing. Simple as.
