The one thing you as a community need to be aware of is that at some point a player will have to buy that bond for real world money and will trade that bond for gold coins.

We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. If we let players start doing this, it devalues RuneScape for others. We feel your status in real-life shouldn't affect your ability to be successful in RuneScape.

The heck with bonds lets vote this crap out when they try to poll it.LEts not let them ruin this game for us like they did Rs3.Lets just start voting no to everything they poll maybe then they will get the idea we just want to be left alone to play our game.

People are going to buy gold either way, id rather see that money go to the game i love. Will vote yess

That is someone who is a living proof of someone smart and cares about the survival and commercialisation of oldschool.
Kids these days who r either too poor at making money or too stupid would oppose to something like this.

Runescape is a business not a charity or non profit organisation, fully support bonds, they can have my money, i would gladly invest in something i love and in turn get a good return out of it.

Would happily invest in jagex if they r listed in the stock exchange something they need to consider about in the future.

So the basis of the argument in favour of bonds is 'People are going to cheat anyway, Jagex may as well cash in on it?' , sorry if someone of us still have hope that OSRS can retain its integrity (remember some of the rules are based around honour: 'We expect our players not to cheat or indulge in dishonest behaviour' )

(And seeing as you're keen on negatively classifying people who offer an alternative opinion: No, I'm not some 'poor kid', I'm an Oracle DBA who is old enough to be Andrew Gower's dad and maybe it's old fashioned, but I'd personally be hesitant to invest in a company that uses outdated legal loopholes to market a pay-gambling game at children.)

money irl always had an adventage in the game since day one,a good example is free to play vs member,members pay each month and got better ways to make money.
in theory this is the method of bonds too,paying to get an adventage in game.
