What's the point of updates if accomplishments don't matter?

"Hey I just got 99 fletching! It only cost me 20 bucks!"

Who says the money will go to OSRS?

Even if it hypothetically did, I'd rather never see another update (and I love updates) than see bonds. It doesn't matter if they released an update a day if doing so had killing the game as a condition.

This is such a ***** idea you might as well poll EoC right next to it.

While I do support RuneFest, I do not agree that people should be able to buy there way there through RWT. ESPECIALLY using OldSchool currency.

I agree with many others when I say that, just because RS3 has something does not mean that the OldSchool community craves it. If anything, the reason I quit RS3 after six steady years of game play (hence the pumpkin mask avatar) was because I disagreed with the updates that were coming out, including a plethora of interface changes, "Loyalty Points", and, of course, Bonds.

Rest assured, if Bonds come to OldSchool, not only will it ruin the economic integrity of the game (as it did with however much was left in RS3), but thousands of currently-active players will quit, myself included.

If Bonds are released into the game, the only difference between OSRS and RS3 will be the graphics. It's unfortunate you guys (the "creative" team) are even considering this as an option, because. knowing how "YES"-happy the OldSchool community can be when it comes to polls, you've basically sealed the deal with this forum thread.

I wonder who actually came up with the idea for polling bonds. I very much doubt it was any of the OSRS team. It seems like the upper management is making them do this.

That's the impression I get, anyway, because all of the OSRS team members seem like they actually care about the integrity and future of the game.

The fact that this idea is even being entertained is disconcerting. The last thing I want to see here is experience handouts much like those that can be found on RS3 all over the place now. I'm not a huge fan of bonds and I am even less of a fan of what this could be a pre-cursor to. I have a hard time believing that any of our designated OSRS mods support this decision either. This concept is a complete betrayal of Old School Runescape ideals.

DEAR GOD NO NO NO NO NO,

IT is so painfully obvious and damn near a slap in the face

"Hey mind if i ruin this game too? Sorry about free trade removal that 1 time oh.. and the eoc thing.. ahh ya and the bonds? but we gave you legacy come on you cant still be mad"

Jmods should ask themselves why eoc failed
Jmods should ask themselves why people hate micro transactions

think about runescape's progession. how many times did you guys ***** up and have to revert to an older version or something different..?
