I like the idea of using bonds to cut out gold swappers. The reason for this is because how many people that have got cheated by these guys in the past. So, this would be a big plus. I don't really like the idea of purchasing money for osrs through bonds; however, people are doing it already. So, whether this passes or not it will still continue but could be safer for those wanting to swap rs3 to osrs.
You try to bring easyscape money here, you deserve to lose it. That shifty behavior should be discouraged, not endorsed. You want easy money with no sense of achievement, the game for that is RS3.
It used to be illegal to gold swap.
I played a very little bit of Classic, and when I did, there was no gold swapping allowed.
My guess is that the change to the RWT rule made it legal (ironically, at the same time, it doesn't seem to actually write in that Jagex is immune from the rule, particularly by selling items on the site), as both transactions take place in the game environment, which is what is required now to be legal.
I've already mused a bit about the wording actually possibly not banning some forms of RWT that could happen totally within the game.
But, it would seem, the change to the RWT rule may have legitimized gold swapping.
Too bad it affected other games, if that is the case. I do remember it not being allowed in the past, however.
