Answering those against
1) "But this essentially legalises and makes rwting easier" - So what?

So what? That's a good attitude lets just let them break rules and let Eoc ruin our game by trading their money for ours and making our game pay to win like theirs, but all in all your right about this being a waste of time to even discuss when they could be doing things that are actually beneficial like I don't know maybe changing the name of old school because most people I know see it as just Runescape that has a chance of being good.

I think it's safe to say that runefest has been completely forgotten by this point.

Like I said though it wouldn't make RWTing any easier, the only difference is the website being used to buy it from, in all likelihood the vast majority of people RWTing will keep to their non legal forms of it anyway due to it always being cheaper.

I don't mind the idea of bonds coming into 07 reason being, someone can simply-buy bonds on main game, sell, and transfer gold to 07 now. The only thing that would be hurt bringing bonds to 07 would be the clans who run transfer operations.

This would totally kill "oldschool" runescape, hence as the name suggests it. No RWT was part of it. If you bring it to oldschool it would kill and destroy the essence of it. How about you stop this gold xchange between oldschool and eoc. It is because of this exchange it is becoming like EOC. It angers me when I see some maxed pure who has 99 att, str, magic and range that bought or xferred resources from eoc to fund without having any money making skills. -_-

Not to mention the ruining of the economy of reflecting IRL wealth in game which Andrew Grower said himself long ago that this is not in the Spirit of the game

This once made runescape special and doing this shows how weak Jagex is by selling its dignity.

I do not support Bonds in Oldschool runescape at all. If you want to go to Runefest, get a loan off your mum, if you want to transfer gold from eoc, do it with a sketchy clan, I can't believe you're even considering adding something like this, chill out with all these updates and let the game settle for a bit, nothing wrong with some anticipation for an update y'know. If bonds are polled it's a definite NO from me.

Bond in Old School runescape would be great. Think about the amount of players who are not able to pay the amount of In Real Life cash for this game, bonds are a great opportunity to get more players in this game. People who love playing old school would love this to happen, think about the world wide connection and not the money the companies earnings for once. There will be more and more players and this will possible lead to more players for runescape in generall :)

Please, tell me how many people:

1. Have an internet connection, while
2. Cannot afford $9 a month for entertainment, and
3. Have enough free time to be able to make gold to buy bonds, so that they
4. Always have enough money every 2 weeks to buy another bond, however
5. In spite of having such a small entertainment budget will still be able to afford one month's membership, in which time
6. They, starting from Tutorial Island can get the levels/gold to buy their first bond in 30 days.

I'm dying to how how many people in the world are actually in this situation.

Is there even one?
