I don't wanna see Bonds in OSRS.

Double Edit: The reason i don't wanna see bonds in OSRS, is because you can pay IRL money to achieve goals in OSRS faster.

not that good of a reason to say no since I could just buy bonds on eoc and transfer for oldschool gold...it's going to happen no matter what

Personally I love this idea because it gets rid of a lot of the xfer cc's that scam or take a % of the transaction, this would be great to have!

Rwting it going to happen no matter what, if someone will buy it on the runescape site, they probably would buy it also from third party sites. The difference is at least jagex benefits from one

OldSchool is going in the same direction are RS3 now. in 1 year from now it will be oldschool eoc.

ignorant post right here. People play oldschool to get AWAY from eoc. oldschool will get updates that rs3 got I'm sure, but the combat system will never happen. Not only would it require TONS of work to implement, probably a year + for the small team, I can guarantee it would fail a poll

Actually, that's not a good reason.

Swapping has many difficulties as of now, including scamming, commissions, exchange rates and time.

What you're really advocating for is an easier way to RWT than the current method, which SHOULD HAVE BEEN OUTLAWED LONG AGO .

Yes, it does have difficulties but does that stop it from happening? Why not add bonds since it's going to happen? If I buy memberships by bonds (which I do) if I get scammed by some chance, I'll try it again with somebody else. Scamming won't deter me from buying a bond, only prolong it.

Yes, I guess it would be an easier way to rwt, personally I want bonds so I don't have to xfer between games, takes away the risk. If someone wants to rwt, they will. At least when they buy bonds they benefit the oldschool team (which gives us updates, gives jobs to new people etc.) where as normally it would go to some staker/gold farmer that won't benefit the community as a whole, just themselves

RWTING WILL HAPPEN NO MATTER WHAT, might as well let it benefit the company

I have been waiting for this for ages, I really hate how i have to join a random swapping cc that bots advertise in every world and hoping the swap will go well. It would be perfect if you could only buy it with gp and not real life money but, jagex is a company after all it wouldn't make sense on there part to make membership free in a way. Hopefully the community understands and this update will come through.

Think about what you're saying. Give me some good reasons why you do not support this.

I don't think the players here realize you can already use bonds to buy gear and such in oldschool. Player A buys bonds on rs3 and then either trades them to oldschool players for oldschool gold or sells em for rs3 gold and then transfers the gold via a clan or service. All this is doing is legitimizing the process while cutting out the middle man. You also need to remember bonds on oldschool would cost a lot less than on RS3. It's likely bonds on here would go for maybe 1-1.5m ea. exactly.
