I don't wanna see Bonds in OSRS.

Double Edit: The reason i don't wanna see bonds in OSRS, is because you can pay IRL money to achieve goals in OSRS faster.

Anyone who wants to get ahead in OSRS by bonds already does so by buying bonds in RS3 and transferring over to OSRS.

Indeed and transferring does not come without any risk.

This does not mean we should make it easier for those who buy gold.

The fact you've even considered this update and if you say the community asked for it is worrying. This game tried so hard to get rid of RWTing and now its just going offer it but with a much higher price. If this does go thru I've lost hope for this game and this community I'll just drop it seriously. I don't wanna see Bonds in OSRS I came here to play OSRS not play RS3. People already do this with clans which I just don't wanna make it any easier for them.

I understand that there are some benefits to this, but it's going down a bad path that I personally don't want to start. People can just buy membership and pay for runefest the old fashioned way.

What about a double exp weekend? Sorry for going off subject but people played years pre eoc and they didn't have a choice when eoc came out our accounts were stuck there. So years of playing when old school came out when down the tubes. Start from scratch and just leave everything behind. I think you should be able to trade in your eoc account for some kind of exp or like do a double weekend or you even give away exp as a old school promo like when they gave away 750k exp to each player pre eoc. :)

Sorry also wouldn't mind seeing a new quest and make a poll for players to throw together ideas to build on quest series eoc hasn't done yet like for example do a quest about the 10th squad still remaining on ape atoll after monkey madness or something.

I wouldn't mind bonds in OSRS myself if they only could be used for ingame gold or runefest, but I wouldn't bother buying them myself. If this doesn't go into poll right now, what stops you polling it later in the future and see what people think later on?

I do not support bonds.

The purpose of banning bots is to avoid clear disadvantages in game due to real world trading, so, this update would do the complete opposite of everything that has been done to stop bots l0l, making real world trading a common thing and making everyone able to pay their parents money for a couple of M's in OSRS, destroying once and for all the essence of the game. Just the kind of thing that already happened in RS3.

A double XP weekend/stat transfer would devalue the achievements of those who have already achieved high levels in OSRS. If you're not comfortable starting your character over from scratch, I suggest trying out Legacy Mode.
