NO. I don't want microtransactions in any way in osrs or I will probably want to leave again. It takes the accomplishment factor away.

Trading from rs3 to osrs is ENOUGH, we don't need microtransactions. I'm actually surprised this question was asked to this community and I really hope it's either a sick joke or fails the poll miserably.

I would too.

I was going to buy the 3 month package for 25% off membership.

The fact this came up is making me reconsider.

I don't mind bonds. I mind you pay real cash for bonds. If bonds can't be sold in a store (and I don't mind that they don't want to) for gold only, if they must be pay to win, then I don't want to even smell them near OSRS.

I know it's a little off topic but for all us who had really nice accounts before eoc and then just had to reset because they made us keep our guys on rs3 and then had to restart just to play the runescape we love, I think there should be a double weekend exp or a trade in from eoc account to count towards some exp because rs3 already gives double and has given 750k free exp pre eoc and that's not really fair we had to start completely from scratch. Just throwing it out there :)

So what you are saying is that you would rather see The bots and Gold farmers get the cash and continue
scamming
players which in return causes people to
quit
.

Also there are alot people who have only logged on for a few hours that have 5 times the amount of wealth you do for doing nothing, how does that make you feel? What im saying is that it
already exists
, rather then try to hide the
obvious
, why not try to make the
best
of it.

I would rather see Jagex get that cash and put it in the game and continue development, which in time would bring the "player" count up aswell, then the bots and Gold farmers getting it to fund scamming and sweat shops and hurting the In-Game
Economy
.

Its a Question of
the lesser of the two evils at this point

I'd rather they made it against the rules. If it's against the rules then there is no defense for someone getting scammed - they shouldn't be doing it in the first place.

Who cares if it already exists, that is not preventing us from tackling it. The last thing we should be doing is encouraging it further.

Is there a viable way to introduce bonds into old school without letting people buy OSRS gold with them?
These were my thoughts exactly. I think it would pass if the user who buys it with real money get's nothing guaranteed in return; it could be like a gifting thing, where I can buy a bond and gift it to Scapy here, without being paid in return.

This could obviously be used to sell gold, however there is a risk of scam, making it more of it wasn't introduced to be a microtransaction

For this, you could simply not give bonds as a game item, they remain out of game, and trading for them could be considered RWT.

Sure, people would still do it, but people trade cash for gold anyway. Making bonds an out of game item that can be gifted would give Jagex a way to track if people were trading them for gold.

Now, that would be ok with me, but...not bonds you can buy and sell for gold legally.
