I've read all the comments so far and i've come to a
simple
conclusion.

Instead of having 2 PvP Worlds which basically divide the pking into half, remove world 337 and have
only
world 325 which will increase the number of players in Pv*

** this pvp world add a target system which makes you hunt down your target across whole of runescape by making only lumbridge a safe area.

When you have tracked down your target and lets say your target is in a multi area, the multi area will be removed just for you and your target while you two are fighting so lures wont work.

Craters are what got people to quit in the first place, lets remind ourselves of that.

PLEASE READ : I think the best way to re-implament the mechanics of Bounty Hunter back into the wilderness would be through Bounty Hunter Worlds . Player would spend time in the wilderness and gain target potential while carrying a reasonable risk, thus forcing players to exercise all parts of the wilderness instead of congregating around a crater. By requiring players to stay in a hot zone to gain target potential, players will spend time killing the new wildy bosses or spend time fishing, or collecting resources, or even just fighting random players. The point I'm trying to make here is that if you (JAGEX) implement the Bounty Hunter crater, the community will be going backwards, the player in OSRS don't want new content, they want content that enhances the aspects of the game that everyone originally fell in love with. Going full circle in my plea for Bounty Hunter Worlds , what really made me fall in love with pkng (and really RS as a whole) from 09-11 was the sense of community in the pk worlds (W18) that was nurtured by spending countless hours in the wilderness waiting for targets and fighting off random pkers. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope my feedback was of any help.

I 100% agree with this and with the wildy rejuvanation updates it will fit perfectly together. People will be using the resource arena to gain ep while gathering resources or kill new wildy bosses. PLEASE Bounty Hunter worlds and not craters worlds are a million times better.

As playing f2p at the time of release of bounty hunter, I hated it, it replaced the bone yard which was the only source of big bones (a decent cash making method) for f2p skillers. Also it seemed like a hastily thrown together update, upsetting the history of the wilderness and completely ignoring the lore, it was a cancerous ulcer....

The mechanics are and were amazing when implemented into worlds. I think it would mostly revive the pking scene if implemented alongside pvp worlds and regular wilderness, if it had some benefits besides just being assinged a target.

There could be some interesting risk/reward mechanics implemented to make bounty hunter something more then just being told to move there and kill him.

Think you should poll Craters vs Bounty hunter worlds.. Personally craters was the best update but you should poll it no doubt in my mind.

craters were definitely not the best update for pking, but yeah there should be a poll to choose between the two.

I played Bounty hunter for a bit & I was never a fan of it. I don't want it in old school at all. I've pked a bit in old school and I think the way to get Pking hot again would be to release the old wildy without pvp worlds. Everyone has always wanted old wilderness and 07 brought PvP worlds back in and now the actual wilderness is deserted because all of the pking takes place in Camelot or Varrock PvP. This isn't the good old school pking people used to love. Pking all across the wild in world 18 was my favorite; not this, and especially not Bounty Hunter.

07 does have the old wilderness, and the reason it's deserted is both because pvp takes away other players and because it costs so much to pk for little to no reward.

The combat division in the craters would spread the small amount of people that would be there too thin, and being unable to pick up your loot from fear of not being able to get out alive with it is a little too off putting for most people.

BHworlds are what is needed to revitalize the pking community.

This.

Craters were a design flaw.

Making the lowest level in the bracket fight the highest level in the bracket? The discrepancy was always too much for the lower level to even handle in most situations. This would deny, like it did when it first released, the varieties in each level bracket.

Making someone wait 3 minutes inside the crater with loot? If you were in the 3-67 bracket, good luck surviving. Countless times in my experience down there I would lose my loot along with many others who fought hard for the kill.

Once a player levels out of the crater? Guess it's time to start a new character or progress it more until it levels out of the next bracket. Everyone would try to get to the highest level possible for a certain crater, limiting variety among account stats.

Please, for the sake of this game, do not repeat your mistakes with Crater Bounty Hunter.

What we really need the most to make Player Killing appealing is to add the targeting system into the popular Player Killing world (World 302) and possibly add loot incentives.

Player Killers love to fight all types of gear types and accept the fact that they might not get the greatest loot. Adding in some incentives draws the
non-PKer's attention whether it be extra money in the form of something like Artifacts or Brawler Gloves (both were flawless) which would help repopulate the Wilderness.

The targeting system was an awesome feature. Matching you up with someone close or the same combat level as you and clashing your weaponry together until someone wins was something I actually enjoyed from the updates by JaGeX.

Bounty hunter is not part of old school. Everyone has to remember the reason they put bounty into the game any way. It was to eliminate open trade and wilderness pking. And that is exactly what it is going to do. It's going to crush the small pvp community that we have right now. It's not going to attract new players. Jagex just needs to cut the crap, and if they really want to make us happy, all they have to do is bring f2p old school and not some stupid trial version. It's called f2p for a reason. P.S jagex quit being afraid of losing people on rs3 and them going to old school.

Thing is, Bounty Hunter worlds were actually a good update for pking. After having that and then having it taken, away people want it back because it was better than the regular wilderness.
