Then we will see the true pvmers in 07.


MastrShafter that is a real good "common sense" idea.... BUT u forgot about a couple things.... you aren't a fanboi, you aren't a famous youtuber, you aren't a crown kisser, therefore even tho its a good idea, it will get ignored and forgotten about as it isn't geared toward the previously mentioned, highly doubt it will even get acknowledged or commented on by staff(lets see them prove me wrong)

That's why i think the best idea is to keep things working similar to how they used to, but have it actually be intended and not a bug.

As Dawn said, crystal bow is surprisingly useful in BA (probably the only place it is..). This because of it's long range and high hit, which has multiple uses in BA.

Chinchompas allow for a completely unique way of playing BA (duo-healer). This is the most difficult way to play, but also the fastest. It has special strategies for all roles and people "waste" millions on chins (me included) to speedrun like this for FUN.

I (and many others) would be really sad if these cool ways to play were removed..

Agreed buck 100% but we both loyal players who forgotten more about rs than these fanbois streamers etc. cant wait till the PVM tourney tho as im 100% certain i already know the winner.
True great pvmers dont stream scream cry they just kill.

Regarding Barbie Assault, I think Tom's planning to put together some designs based on your various ideas from this thread, and from elsewhere, and work on it as his TAPP project.

Regarding the bullet-list of off-topic ideas, I'm afraid I've had rather a lot of other things to work on today, and off-topic stuff blatantly dumped in the update discussion thread tends not to be very high priority. Briefly, we'd like more death risk though not necessarily like the 2 minute timer from 2007, random events didn't work as well as you may have hoped, and the shop change looks like it would hit legitimate players the same as bots. And where you refer to getting OSRS back to how it was in 2007, I recall RS was full of bots then (plus aggrieved players talking about how much better it used to be).

why not the 2min timer thats was 07rs
same with randoms it would stop afking
and it wouldnt hit legitimate players as they would have to work for the extra bstaffs.
yes it was full of bots but mod mark said there werent any but we all no they were made from the rwt traders like boaty woox archie reach sparmc and many more

Also ive requested a meeting with the sensible at 07 but you always decline maybe you might actually learn something or maybe you wont not sure tbh on that 1.

I play Runescape because I love the BA community. It is one of the last things in the game that requires individual skill, cannot be botted afked as well as the need to work together. If one person drops it you all go down.

There is a dedicated group of people including myself who love and adore this game. People who have spent hundreds of hours playing and understanding the game. These people keep Ba alive. We help people get torsos, teach them how to play the game and ultimately we want as many people to love the game and see it as we do.

Whilst removing the Blowpipe may not kill the game now, if a similar substitute is not found or updates reverted the game will slowly die.

As more and more people from our community get frustrated and lose motivation to strive to play this game.

The people I speak of are those who speed run ba. Yes we do 'fun runs' with noobs and we are happy to teach and play with them. But on the flip side, we have our own competitive scene which keeps us motivated and brings our community together. With the Blowpipe removed, all attempts at beating current world record times for BA are useless.

You may not care about this, but as I say. We are the community that keeps this game alive, if something is not found this game WILL die, as we simply will not wish to play.

Would allow all range weapons to be used in an intended way :)
With this idea you could even make magic more viable at the same time, by allowing use of any spell as long as correct item is equipped.
