No, if healers tag you they'll go after you until they manage to poison you, so if you are in their "agro" range they'll tag you, being near the fighter caves will make it more likely for them to tag you and therefore make it much more pain to be a healer.

I agree with the others above me in that this nerf to BA is truly a painful one to witness. You are directly affecting a small but very passionate group of people who play BA for fun. If you do not see it fit to be added back to its original state,even though it was an awesome role to play and was still complex with blowpipe, then here is my purposed fix. Add darts to the dispenser and when the call comes you have to add the darts to your blowpipe (unequip,add,then re wield and continue).

p.s. You guys have taken the +5 damage from lvl 5 attacker away with range attacks

I think its sad you didn't allow more clans to enter the PvP championship. Theres more clans like AF, Brut, VNG, FSK etc that can put up a decent team and fight. You only pick the streamers/players/clans you know people in all the rest gets ignored why would we even bother turning in a request to enter.

Do consider that the blowpipe didn't even exist until 2015; while you've found the bug very advantageous since then, what you've got now is closer to how Barbarian Assault has been for most of the last decade. But thanks for the various proposals about how to improve the viability of ranging in there.

Tom & I have just released a fix for the bug with damage boosts not working for ranged or magic.

In all honestly. Why are you starting to do it again? Starting to "fix" things that ain't broken? I would like to know how many people who cares about the current login screen. My guess. Around 0-1. Please don't start again with this nonsense about changing fixing and whatnot things that nobody has ever complained about. :/ I really don't want to awesome game to go the same way RS2 went.

The thing is that if ranging works as intended in BA. The best you can use the use a magic shortbow with bronze-mithril arrows (completely worthless).

IMO the "bug" was perfectly balanced, good range weapons actually worked and you still had to put in the effort to switch arrows.

In all honesty, it was broken. I get that you liked it that way, and that you weren't complaining, but advantageous bugs often get plenty of likers who benefit from use of them. That doesn't mean they're not bugs.

I'm not clear why you've brought that up, but inviting people to email pics to us is a pretty trivial thing that isn't impacting on dev work.
