adding an equip to blowpipe option on darts with blowpipe equipped would be a fantastic addition if you can do that!

I'de like to thank you for taking the time to read our suggestions!

Another few things i'de like to cover, especially if you choose to go down this route. is in regards to the ranged strength from the current ranged items you can get from barbarian assault.

Currently you take Bronze/Iron/Steel & Mithril, could something be done to make the darts you pull from the dispenser, or the ammo you take from the dispenser all similar ranged bonuses, around the addy dart area or something similar, so theres less damage discrepencies between calls.

And to further add to my idea of an accumulator styled function - maybe you could show the accumulator to the guy upstairs and he adds the functionality to the attack role indicator so that the need to stock hundreds of darts/arrows wouldnt be a huge problem.

If this can't be done then maybe the amount of ammo you withdraw from the dispenser at any one time would be much larger - say 500 each? this would also help hugely with the viability of ranged overall

Emergent gameplay is great, but "hey, the ammo checks don't work with this weapon" isn't quite what we'd encourage for it.

Someone on Twitter suggested not consuming ammo at all in there, which would cover what you said about Ava too.
Consider if the items you got out of the dispensor were special Barbie Assault ammo, rather than fake arrows, and the four flavours of the ammo had equivalent stats, and worked with blowpipes or bows, and they regenerated while used so you never needed to worry about quantities.

Out of curiosity - how would this work in regards to Crystal Bow then switching to blowpipe? currently the crystal bow was used to "tag" the first fighter or ranger to get an extra hit in, would the ammo slot have to be unequipped then equipped to blowpipe?

I see your point, it does feel like it's the same people every year, and that there's potentially preference for who is in the tourney, but how can't there be? Alot of the people involved may be preferred by Mods (like Archie as you often refer to) but they're also preferred by a vast majority of people that play the game, and ultimately, why wouldn't they put people in the tourney that will get the most eyes onto the stream? It'd be silly not to. The game is still a business, they need to profit and they need eyes on the product to continue to thrive. And aside from business and money, opinions may vary on this, but many of these people who are "preferred" over others are preferred for their body of work, being generally good players of the game, as well as being charismatic and, as Archie mentioned about Monni at the end of the Brid tournament, they are genuinely entertaining to watch. It's kind of unfair to call a conspiracy on this, when tens to hundreds of thousands of people genuinely enjoy watching these people. Why would they go away from that?

That said, two things I agree with you on are the allocation of how much money the winners get, as well as getting new blood involved.

Switching from a blowpipe to a bow and back isn't very much clicking, though ideally the ammo slot wouldn't be relevant if the weapon doesn't use the ammo in it.

Back in 2005 osrs was nothing like today, so how about we try get back some of the old days runescape.
Heres a couple of suggestions for you to ponder as you been in rs longest.

1. the death mechanics back in 2007 were you die you lose your stuff, why cant we have that back?
2 the random events atm is perfect for the afkers/bots, so why cant it be changed where if you dont dismiss it yourself within a small period of time it teleports you to somewhere like the disk of returning place and you got talk to guy to get back into rs
Thatll help you catch way more bots and the afkers can cry all they want rs wasnt built for afking.
3 the battlestaff bots in Varrock is a massive problem, so how about this idea.
The shop stocks 0 battlstaffs after easy diary 1 med diary 2 hard 3 elite 5 and restocks your staffs every hour.
Now that would stop the bots
Id appreciate your opinions on these ideas to get osrs back to something like it was back actually in 07 and before.
Then we will see the true pvmers in 07.

Instead of taking 4 types of arrows from the dispenser, maybe you take 4 different "special" ammo-slot items. Equipping the correct one based on your call would let you use any range weapon without needing ammo.

Would allow all range weapons to be used in an intended way :)

From what i can tell, what you suggested would be actual ammo. How does this work with range weapons that doesn't use ammo? Such as Crystal bow as mentioned (or darts/knives/chins etc).
