Void shouldnt have been messed with. The con is low defensive values and always have been, if you lost to a rigour voider in pvp maybe you should have not let your hp get so low. The same principles apply to d claws, ags, dharocks, etc.. If you let your hp go low your eventually going to die its actually pretty simple. Range was finally equal to melee and now its ruined. That being said, lost a big spending customer. Ill spend my time and money on games with developers that wont change the original dynamics that brought customers to play in the first place. Right when I thought the game was fun again its back to RS3 EOCscape. Good luck staying in business.

I thought the OSRS team understood the reason we play oldschool is because jagex forcing what it wants on us has fucked us over before, just like with EOC. Wasn't the whole premise of this game supposed to be polled content and power to the players ?

Now you guys are going back on your word. Your team should have proposed the problems and let us vote, or at the very least suggest solutions/compromises, instead of just doing a BS blanket nerf. It was a very unprofessional thing you guys did.

Void Elite Magic bonus idea


I'm fine with the current accuracy bonus for the magic set.

But as a thought why not give the elite set a 10-20% chance to deal 1/3 of the damage from the last spell to the target again. Kind of like the recurrent damage buff from NMZ. You don't get extra experience works like a random vengeance or recoil damage.

It could set up some interesting void swaps in PVP at high levels with the another void helmet and a combo weapon. As well as being useful for many other PVM uses like high level slayer.

Your completely right i look forward to a shark fishing buff.
I have a Skiller with 99 fishing and fishing sharks at guild is still slow as.
I never had the time to commit to learning zulrah or have the necessary gear
so i really welcome this adjustment.
if you could somehow make the boost accessible to skillers or low levels that would be great would be gutted to find out after all these years of waiting for a fishing boost i couldn't do it but it has been long overdue!!!

We are also aware that the community have felt that the Magic Void set simply isn't worth using. We definitely agree, and we are open to discussing improvements to this set - if you have suggestions, be sure to send them our way!


The last time you guys have asked for mage suggestions was roughly somewhere between 1-2 years ago. Despite asking for them, every mage suggestion from every source has consistently been ignored every time.

I'm not sure if we should bother because why would things be any different this time? But just in case we do get lucky, it's simple:

Keep accuracy the same. Give it a damage boost that only works with claws of guthix, as this fits the void knight lore and avoids balance issues.

Believe magic to only be for support? Think again. It's just as valid of a Pking style as melee and range is.

I mean yeah if thats your idea on how to successfully achieve business growth, by always counting on the same old players, right on! Great thinking! Maybe we should go into business together and become billionaires with such great strategies! Did you play when free trade was removed? Or when wildy was removed? Obviously these "long term players" arent enough to foot the bills.....Wake-Up call! If people dont like what your selling your not going to make it very long! Perhaps jagex job layoffs and paycuts might suffice the difference? Yeah thats why wildy and free trade come back pretty quickly. Give it a month or so and review the revenue see if these "long term players" can foot the bill difference. And then figure put how long thats lasts with this continued update agenda.

Balance updates have to be made. Nearly all online games in existence does these and even many offline games get balance patches as well. None of them poll them and with damn good reason. Those who are not new to online gaming would know this.
