Balance updates have to be made. Nearly all online games in existence does these and even many offline games get balance patches as well. None of them poll them and with damn good reason. Those who are not new to online gaming would know this.

How did I get all that? Just stating the obvious. And yeah your right, patches are done where deemed needed. How tf woud you nerf void and not d claws, nerf void and not ags, nerf void and not dh, nerf void and elder maul? All of these items are just as lethal but we gotta pick on void because why?? Because newer players are finally granted something somewhat decent after 15 hours of griding? Because you dont know when to eat while being hit? I really fail to see the problem here when u can 1 tick 78s with an ags and 68s with claws...Tell me whos new to online gaming and ill let you know how shit works.

Prior to osrs coming out whether you care to admit it or not you as a company where in financial difficulties.

You made certain promises during the polling period for osrs and when it finally came out osrs gave you a much needed instant cash injection.

Tell me have you ever heard of the saying "dont bite the hand that feeds you"

You suddenly broken your promises and adopted the attitude of the eoc days i wont be feeding you anymore.

Because it was range that had high accuracy, high KO potential, high-highish dps, high damage consistency, and low risk all at once. Rangers essentially had the accuracy of mages and the KO potential of melee.

In comparison, KO potential is all melee has going for it in PvP. Even then, mainly only the AGS since most of their other weapons are unreliable against def. Dh is a close second, but it's also predictable.

If melee was nerfed, they would be so stupidly easy to kill. I could run the numbers for you, but suffice to say-melee is the least accurate of the combat skills in PvP once defenses are involved. Godsword specs are the only exception.

Believe magic to only be for support? Think again. It's just as valid of a Pking style as melee and range is.

I would like to start off by saying that i am probably done now with rs (forever) because i have seen this game go from a great game to something that jagex though was better just because we didnt know what was healthy for us. The nerf to zulrah was well needed but i fail to understand that it took 2 years, i fail to understand the neft to the serp helm because the requirements for getting one are way harder than netziot helm so you are getting rewarded for doing regicide and climbing through the game, And last but not least the nerf to void is probably the worst because all the time ive spent getting it isnt going to get refunded and i should have the option of refunding my points or even better getting them back. i think yall should keep you word on making every update a poll like you said you would and since yall havent learned from your past then the only way for you to realized is for people to stop paying money. hopefully this is fixed and maybe one day ill come back but i doubt either of those two will happen for i have low faith in jagex already. best of luck with the game and i hope yall take the route yall want but this is where i get off, im not going on the same ride that i experience pre eoc.

Yet again Jagex broke my heart and soul. The hours of grinding questing to finally obtain my ballista with void. Jagex lost all of it's credibility. I do not agree with any of the suggestions about differentiating elite void from regular, if anything the elite void should get even more bonuses such as defense bonus. Every void set needs to be reverted back. I came back to osrs to play old school. If I wanted to get fucked and played a game that is supposedly 'balanced' I would play RS3 which will never happen. Not pollling? Going to stop membership of all accounts. There is no point in playing anymore. I play osrs for pking and the fact that we can build over powered builds. The reward of grinding is that you get to use good gear and weapons. Why is that not fair? I spent so many hours. I cannot feel anything but hatred towards these mods. I seriously want to beat you assholes for wasting my time and gutting my passion for this game. It is sad that balancing is more important to what is actually important to the players who play this game.

Not to troll or be disrespectful, but the drop table nerf needs to be recalculated. With current market prices, Zulrah is down to 1.5m an hour which is a far more significant change than 30%. Would it be possible to poll some compromises? Neither here nor there, but I think that, shark switch to manta, serp nerf and seed reduction, would have achieved the 30% nerf desired. In the future, can you make minor adjustments that roll out to avoid these huge market swings and give better data up front instead of waiting and seeing if you fucked up?
