And they've gained my respect for doing what any competent game dev would do and make needed balance changes.

It would be idiocy for a game dev to poll balance/integrity issues as the playerbase often does not vote in favor of the best interests of the game. They vote for their own interests.

we are paying to play OLDSCHOOL numnuts , not a new private server where everything changes as new devs see fit! if your ok with all that go play rs3

Not everything changes, just balance/integrity issues as is the case with pretty much every online game. Are you new to gaming or something? Even some offline games get balance change patches so it should be of no surprised that this one does. Especially since we've seen it before with Nmz,splash training, blowpipe's pvp nerf and changing addy bars to unnoted.

People have been complaining about void and zulrah for a while now. The only question is why they're just now making the nerfs instead of a year and a half or more ago.

Void was not overpowered, it only begins to provide better range bonus than armardyl at 92+ range level.

At least make void have the full bonus outside of PvP - or for mains (E.g. with elite void).

Think it through - please.

Meanwhile, you're the kind of person who backs themselves up with a slippery slope fallacy about something completely unrelated as if that's somehow a valid point.


By the way, it's very interesting how we can see all five stages of grief in this thread, coming from the opposers.

- Denial, the people like you who refuse to accept it and claim nothing was wrong
- Anger, the ironmen threatening to cancel their 3 subscriptions as if they really mean anything to Jagex in the grand scheme of things, and the people straight out insulting Jagex + telling them to kill themselves
- Bargaining, the people who aren't happy with the change and are trying to bargain void being 15% instead of 10%, or void keeping 20% bonus except with higher requirements, etc
- Depression, the people posting sob stories about how they spent all this time and money on this game and now they have no motivation to play it anymore
- Acceptance, the people who aren't really happy with the change but accept that it's for the best

All within just the first 20 pages, it's fascinating. I get moody during that time of the month. You know, with the full moon and all.
