This is all just outright false. The Serp helm costs an absurd amount of money in the form of scales to use, scales that will now go up in price now that less people do Zulrah. It is NOT a must-have for nearly ANY combat activity in Old School, it is merely best-in-slot for some activites. The +2 strength bonus you removed (equivalent of about 0.4 max hit) barely even made a difference, and the venom was the ONLY reason it was worth the cost to use it.
The fact that you feel the need to nerf something that already saw little use due to its cost really has me worried about the future of old school. It's an "Old School" game, not "THE Old Game" If you're so afraid of moderate powercreep, how can you continue to release meaningful content to this game? You've already made a new PvM challenge to match the power levels you've given us? Think on that for a bit, please, we're all depending on you.
