I didn't say equal footing, but you cant expect a game or even a basic business model to survive if it cant cater to the people who cant invest significant amounts of time into it. I think a good portion of the player base would be high teens/early adulthood playing because of the nostalgia more than anything, EOC was ruined before that by all of the kiddy minigames/weeklies etc.

If someone has to spend 5+ hours a day playing on a regular basis just to have the resources and income to play at a moderate level, Im talking mid tier bossing, slayer, questing etc., not to mention making the money for bonds on top of that then it simply isn't going to work.

Yes account breaching, its happening far too much with nothing done about it. I personally had an 800m bank cleaned, I didn't have anyone on friends or a cc, played solo, different password for RS than anything else, no phishing and boom, gone. Just look on the forums/reddit, theyre going through emails/authenticators etc., so don't fall back on authenticator crap.

Void BiS for lets see, Bandos, assuming you have Rigour, raids mostly for cutting down on switches, afking brutal blacks if you did them off task..... Bout all I can think of? I don't see any issue with making a versatile high risk high reward set that takes a time investment not gp investment to get, then at least everyone can get it and its not paywall locked like tbow is?

I dont usually write on the forums but this time i really have to express how i feel about this. First off i did find Zulrah a bit too rewarding. Although zulrah was very rewarding it still took somewhat of time and efforts to actually even start doing zulrah especially for ironmen. I made this account to actually enjoy the game in another way and this actually light up the game for me completely. I set a long time goal to start farming zulrah and maybe other bosses too and i am slowly getting there! NOW for the opinions. Like i said zulrah might have been a bit too rewarding and a slight nerf would actually have been a good idea. But you decided to nerf those drops that actually are really important for ironmen to the ground. 100magic logs to 35 yew logs???? that makes no sense tbh. I would understand 100 mlogs --> 30/20 mlogs etc. Same goes for sharks 100 raw sharks becomes 35 cooked mantas... Nerfing dragon bones too.. training prayer as an ironman is already bad and at the level you farm zulrah you prayer is probably at a higher level and imo the dragon bones was a justified reward.

Im not going in to the serpentine helm nerf that was just plain horrible. You just made a good reward equal to a helmet from an easy quest?!

Now to void. I dont do wilderness alot and tbh i dont really care how it affects that. But i still feel it was wrong to change it like that. No poll no nothing. People are actually making PvP accounts around that and you just nerf it like that.

I dont feel these changes are good for anyone and i dont see the reason to change things this extreme in one go. I truly hope you look into the situation and consider buffing some parts closer to pre-nerf if it seems the nerfs were too harsh which they definitely are Torilla Tavataan!

Wow. you actually had something that no-one one was complaining about, and nerfed it to the ground. CONGRATULATIONS! R.I.P. Zulrah!

If you wanted to go this route, you should have also removed the terrible drops from zulrah like flax and snakeskin.

Also, this is a much larger decrease in profits than 30% considering that runite ore drop is now 20k, down from 100k. yew logs is 12k down from 90k. dragon bones is 33k down from 90k. stop screwing with drop tables, especially those that are 2 YEARS OLD! hi

Just unsubbed because of the recent update. They might as well limit trade again because that was done "for the good of the game".

Jagex has made it quite clear from their past that you can run a game into the ground by trying to make the game better. Literally the only thing that matters is if most of the player base likes or dislikes an update.

Judging by reactions on these forums and on twitch less than 50% of the people who play this game like this update. This will likely be the largest exodus of the player base since OSRS launch.

They lost my $10 a month and I'm sure they will lose many many more. We'll see if they really are interested in satisfying the majority of their community or if they will just cater to the vocal minority of idiots who are saying this is a good update.

Either way we'll see if they can get by on only that vocal minorities subscriptions rather than the larger unhappy player base that is now leaving.
