Ruining the fucking game like always. No nerf was necessary for void because it takes so much time to get. Obviously this is well deserving of being one of the bis rewards. Ruined that.zulrah grind was a necessity to iron men, as this is where many drops helped them out. Way to ruin that. Serp helm drop there now might as well be worthless. It was the best headgear in game and as such it should have kept its stats. That's fucking stupid on your part to mess with something that didn't need messing with. This is always how you fuckkng ruin a game. You start changing something "broken" that doesn't need to be fixed. Maybe next time try fucking polling something before "fixing" it the way you think it should be fixed. If you actually cared about your players then you wouldn't do what you see fit and instead do what your players feel is the best option. This is exactly what happened when you ruined the original runescape. Stop fucking it up and actually give a shit about your played. Fucking ridiculous Jagex. Fucking ridiculous.

If you are gonna nerf void, at least nerf the fucking requirements by half to get it. At least make it nerfed in PvP instead of PvM...I literally just came back to the game, i've been playing since 2005 and this is akin to the type of detrimental and arbitrary changes that killed the game in 2012 with the release of E O C, The people didn't ask for this.

Funny, because you're literally playing on an alternate, non-main Runescape server which has had added to the game:

- A tacky-looking arena outside of Yanille that teleports you inside a cave with infinitely spawning quest bosses, which also has Overloads for use within the instance + absorption potions so that you can afk train combat
- A boss added to the game that conveniently dropped everything you could possibly need all in one spot
- NPCs like Hatius Cosaintus outside of the starting area wearing the most expensive gear, or Toby in Varrock, things that you happen to see very often on private servers
- Poor quality memes being made into important in-game NPCs (elder gnome child, really?), also literally gnome child on Western banner 3 I get moody during that time of the month. You know, with the full moon and all.

By the way, it's very interesting how we can see all five stages of grief in this thread, coming from the opposers.

- Denial, the people like you who refuse to accept it and claim nothing was wrong
- Anger, the ironmen threatening to cancel their 3 subscriptions as if they really mean anything to Jagex in the grand scheme of things, and the people straight out insulting Jagex + telling them to kill themselves
- Bargaining, the people who aren't happy with the change and are trying to bargain void being 15% instead of 10%, or void keeping 20% bonus except with higher requirements, etc
- Depression, the people posting sob stories about how they spent all this time and money on this game and now they have no motivation to play it anymore
- Acceptance, the people who aren't really happy with the change but accept that it's for the best

All within just the first 20 pages, it's fascinating.
wtf does this entire 20 minutes of writing nonsense bring to this discussion? all i saw was a personal attack on 1 person, and you patting yourself on the back over psychoanalyzing ppl on internet forums? congrats on identifying human emotions You know nothing...

Untrue. What's better, continuing the way things are and putting the longevity of the game in jeopardy, or sucking it up and finding a new way to make money? You know this was the best choice, your selfishness just makes it hard for you to accept.

I'm sure the twisted bow is on their radar, and even if it isn't, suggest a nerf then, they listen to what we say, as can be evidenced by this update.

The date under my name displays the last time I renewed my membership. I've been playing since 03, 05 or 06 on this account.

Pollin the community would have been a waste of time, it lasted for too long and too many people got comfortable and would have declined the option for the change. Much like the AFK/Splashing ordeal, sometimes the OSRS Team has to accept they made a mistake and make the ballsy move to make things right, even if it does go against the traditional way of the community making the choices. The community doesn't always know what's best, and even when we do, there's no saying we'll be on board with what's best, such as in this case. It's not like they went ahead and removed the only money making method in the game, there are still other great options out there, and there will be future options available.

@mod_ash Why both reductions on serp? Lowered bonuses and no venom anymore..? Bit overkill dont u say? This update will kill zulrah content dramaticly.... If you put venom back to serp helm, people will still want to do zulrah.... Prices will still go up because less people are doing it and its going to be more in demand. - HOG

The people aren't playing the game for the community, they are playing it to pass the time and enjoy the time they are passing. Not working their ass of for something like void for instance, then having it nerfed into the ground. If anything buff zulrah and make it a challenge to receive the OP loot. The game is already a grind and if you have the perseverance to get an OP item that takes a considerable amount of time, you should reap the benefits of that reward. If Jagex REAAALLY cared about the community and the economy they would work day and night to find a solution to the bot's in the game, no other game has such an inept group of people working against bots.
