I did include my original post or are you blind? The facts are that these are needed for current and future updates. Give me one of your opinions on it and I will show you how you are wrong. I can't be bothered to search all of these for your original post before you started spamming you are unsubbing. EVERY SINGLE ONE of these updates were needed, and there is not a single reason to keep any of them except for cheating the game.

I can understand why these needed to be unpolled. What do you think the community's response would be?:

"We want to nerf a lot of things you do to make money and gain a massively OP advantage in the game. Y/N?"

This is the problem with polling every update: People will not vote for what is best for the balance of the game, but for what will personally benefit them the most.

Nevertheless, the salt will flow. Headcanon Haven, where everything is made up and the points don't matter.

im sorry but im cancelling my membership, the reason? zulrah drop table nerf. As an ironman i didnt farm zulrah kills towards maxing when the drop table wasnt nerfed, many ironman took advantages and abused 5-10k kills, and now you cant do that anymore, its unfair with new ironman and those who didnt kill zulrah for the drops. Im sorry but you didnt make anything to compensate those who didnt abuse zulrah drops pre-nerf, so im saying bye to the runescape community and jagex, not paying membership anymore.

Worst update i've seen so far go ahead and nerf everything except the real overpowered weapons and gear like dharock.. a simple g maul... also way to high hits for what it cost..
quite in shock about this update after all those years nerfing void? and the serp helm made me laugh drink a anti-venom and the serp helm is not much of a deal...

and ofc zulrah nerf... lets nerf zulrah cause its make like 3m max a hour... but keep the raids in! OP twisted bow which is real OP and double of the zulrah money in history...

wondering why its not 1 april could be a big joke...

You cite longevity of the game, but the reason for the update is to make room for new content.

"(Serp helm stats/venom)...leave us very little room to introduce helmets of a similar tier." , yet you also mention "The community has always strongly leaned towards the idea of fixing existing problems rather than building on top of them."

NOBODY in the community saw the serp helm's stats or effects as a problem. The venom effect could be mitigated in PvP, and most PvE bosses have mechanics in place to reduce the effect. Releasing new, poor quality content is a perfect example of building on top of existing problems. Add Zulrah to the long list of dead content on Old School when you release a new "helmet of a similar tier".

The point of creating Old School was to stay in touch with the community and have us, the players, guide the direction of the game. Minor QoL updates and balancing issues are understandable...but years after content has been released is hardly a "balancing issue" and should have been polled.

Don't remember voting on a Zulrah nurf. Leave it to Jagex to let my main get hacked, so I start playing my Ironman, and woo fucking destroy things as i come upon them. Here comes EOC, just throw in all the shit you want without votes cuz that worked out well the last time right?
