This looks great! I love the idea of the Auction House and I hope it's a rather large area with one building just like the Grand Exchange was. Make sure to decipher any possible bugs before release though.

No complaints here!

"There would be no recommended sale price for an item. If they wanted to see the going price of an item they would need to look at what other players are selling it for through the buying option."

All of my this.

Thank you so much. The fact that the Grand Exchange calculated the average of offers and suggested that price for you is part of the reason pretty much all producing skills lost money from 2008 onwards. What you have offered us is an in-game *****, and this is gloriously balanced and practical. In response to the expiry date question, Maybe 1-3 days? A week seems too long to keep an offer in. The only problem I see with this is that there is going to be hundreds and maybe thousands of offers going at once for particular items, would be worse than ***** if you had to go to a particular spot to place these offers. Maybe make it available in all banks or even as a tool icon available anywhere (like ***** is, since it's an external website)?

In other news, could the correct spelling of "*****" be removed from the chat filter? I see no reason to still have it filtered in game.

***edit: all of the starred words is the popular trading site everyone uses, and there is a sticky on the RuneScape forums to activate your account there.

A trade offer should be deleted within hours after the player has logged off, id say in the range of 4-8, so the player in essence would have to log on 3 times a day to keep a trade active. This will greatly affect botting rates of trade and price manipulations

Where would this Trading place be located? I think it should be in a location that is not commonly visited by many players so that it will bring more people there.

"You should be able to trade when you are offline"

Offline can be interpreted as "chat is off but player is still in game". The concern for many was the amount of time involved when buying or selling, time that could be spent playing the game. Merchanters will not be affected by the need to have the chat set to on but others could. Requiring the friend's chat to be set to public to enable the sale of an item(s) will force players into a possible uncomfortable situation. ie. #1 overall player sets chat to public so to sell something, players begin swamping that chat.

What is the correct intention of "offline"? I do hope it is that the player is in game but with chat off or set to friends only.

Face-to-face trading is part of the game, and a part that I thoroughly enjoy. It should not be dismissed as an inconvenience and removed.

Zy is a successful format enjoyed and accepted by many with very little disagreement. They just need to add this format to the OSRS home/forums.

Don't speak for others as you clearly do not share the same opinion.Seeing as you can't even spell or use gramma i guess you are young? so I have probably played Runescape longer than you (since april 2002 to be exact) that when there was only the classic game i quit when the wilderness was removed and trade limit was introduced. Then i started playing again when it was restored but i quit again in late 2012 as i did not like where the game was going when the vote for an old server was brought up i was on all the time to see how it was going and wanted it really bad, a lot of the new features in RS2 i do like but not all of them especially not RS3 its the stupidest thing they have done in my opinion, but thats what im getting at that is just your opinion so dont speak on behalf of people you don't even know since we didn't ask you to...

I hope by "Visit the Auction House" you mean an actual Auction House that you can walk to. I hope by "Interface" you don't mean on the Options tab. Because then somebody could teleport just using the Options tab and not using runes. It'd be exploited. Also if it isn't an actual building, and you really can access it from anywhere, then you can get items into your inventory from anywhere without the need of a bank, which is unacceptable.

I know you probably know what you're doing, but I just want to make double sure these problems don't become a reality.
I'm a huge fan of Construction; love the skill. In particular I'm absolutely fascinated with the
Player-Owned House Dungeon.
My dream is for everyone to be able to build their own personal PvM challenge, one that rivals even current content.
