Game is fine as it is, people who play runescape and value every aspect of this game, won't need such a change in the gameplay. This will no doubt make the market more vulnerable and manipulative, not to mention the joy what bots feel - selling easily big stacks. From a player interaction point i don't really see this being much different from GE, yes GE was anonymous but what interaction will still remain when we just say "Hi" and "Ty".
We can't make everything too easy, this is what oldschool should be about, being different of the main game and other MMO's. To succeed in oldschool, you have to find your own way to get your supplies or sell them, this is the beauty of this game - every aspect (including social) of the gameplay counts.
I will say NO, because I don't want this came to become a game of mute zombies who all try to avoid interacting and see merching the only way to make money - this is what happend after GE. Yes, maybe I overreact, but if we choose the easy way, sooner or later, the game will go more easier and in the end we will have something similar to GE again.

Original message details are unavailable.
This isn't needed, the current trading system is fine if you use the ***** exchange site, I've not had a single item in the game I couldn't purchase through it with waiting times longer than ~20 minutes.

Don't change anything and raise awareness to all players that ***** exchange exists, or make your own exchange site if you want your own name on it.

Edit: Apparently that 5 letter word that hosts a site about runescape and helpful things isn't allowed. Sorry.

Yeah, no. I use that site, and trading is still a hassle.

I started playing rs 07 again simply because it stated that it would be for 'nostalgic' players looking to play the game that they knew and understood, the game that was simple and refined to the point where each feature of the game was perfect. My point being that in my opinion the game should stay EXACTLY the same there shouldn't be any major changes just maybe a few slight tweaks like being able to 'rest' for example.
The auto typing tool suggested to me that Jagex was not going to make any drastic changes that would make it become more like the abomination that is rs3.
And now here we are faced with another 'game changing' tool I mean I can see the point of making life easier for the players but I don't want a game that constantly changes and becomes worse each month.

So for the social aspects of the game, again why can't it just stay how it is, I can see the benefits of having an auction house to help players purchase items quicker more efficiently etc however I can only see this as a slow but sure way to ruin the social side of the game, I enjoy the fact that you have to actually go out of your way to get the items you want, it's all part of the challenge and in my opinion drives the classic gameplay. That's my rant over, I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks this.

People are gonna pick to buy low and sell high, It just seems like a lot of work and more time trying to buy a certain amount of something than if it was just the G.E setup where the items were just bundled into groups of their price range. The only people that don't want the G.E are the merchers, and they ruin the game themselves by taking advantage of the needs of people and exploiting the prices with merchant bots. At least with the Grand Exchange you didn't see it happening even though it still did. You keep talking that you want the game to be a social experience but you could just do that by making more mini-games that involved more players. Or you could add group quests that take multiple people to do it with(not just Shield of Arrav and Heroes). When people want to buy and sell an item they don't care about that 5 second interaction and I(and everyone else) don't become friends with people they trade. They simply get their item or cash and move on with the game. Simplifying the trading system by putting the G.E into the game would make getting an item or your cash faster so you could actually do your clue scroll or finish your quest. To be honest the game was perfect the week before the EoC came out and should of just continued separately from that and the EoC should of had to start with a fresh account since in one update you changed the game more than all the other updates combined. With all the changes in Old School RS so far the game is far from August 2007. More effort should be placed in ridding the game of the bots that influence the prices more than merchers. People can still make money with the 5% up and down offers on the G.E. Playing the game should be the social aspect of it, not the procurement of items. The Grand Exchange was a very social place pre EoC with people skilling at the banks and maybe you could add a mini-game in the middle to attract more people. 5 Second Fuses Only Last 3 Seconds.

Awesome! Love it (: Finally don't have to chase people around and constantly check worlds or forums for offers.

One thing I don't like is that people are suggesting we buy an amount of the specific item a player is selling (if they are selling 10k we have to buy 1k - something like that). UH NO. I tried buying 10 mahogany planks from a player who was selling "1k or none" I didn't even need 1k nor did I have the cash for it (only needed 1 for a quest and thought the player would let me buy if it was 10)...And that player turned their private message off (after a few messages from me) because I was not going to buy all 1k of the planks. They could have at least said “Sorry no can do.” No one else was selling the planks, that player was my only chance.

It would be ridiculous if players are going to force each other to buy an amount of what they are selling, especially if there aren't many offers on the same item...That would be a problem. I don't have cash flowing in my bank to buy an amount of things. If I need 1-2 planks, foods, logs, etc. I should be able to buy that amount not "at least" 1k or whatever a player is offering.

Think this is a good possible solution, I would love to see this polled as the following;

Would you like the auction house solution?
Would you like to see the Grand Exchange implemented?
Would you like to see a different type of solution?
Would you like to see things remain as they are?

Personally I think the Grand Exchange is great, and people are bashing on it because it is a "RS3 idea" and god forbid theres an RS3 thing in old school :p But in an anonymous poll, I think it might see more support. The auction house could be great though, Both are great time savers as the current system is a giant pain after we've all seem the convenience of the GE
