Why call it an Auction House when it clearly isn't one?

Agreed lol, seems like an odd name to have for a place that doesn't have any actual bidding or auctioning going on.

Sounds good to me, I like the idea of an auction house, I believe it would keep a fair balance with trading while providing a solution at the same time.

Looking forward to seeing this put into development in time, will be well worth the wait :)

Well..I wasn't wanting this kind of thing to happen..but glad it isn't G.E. and hope it's better then the G.E. As long as it isn't a big thing in the way as G.E. was then I'm OK with this. I'm not wanting to many BIG updates were it's brand new buildings in the way, skills or updates on the graphics.

otherwise i agree, an auction house without bidding is rather silly

We can do a loot share system based on this sure.

Could you do a "Coin"share? Likely with shards like Other RuneScape does.

Will vote against it as I don't want trading to occur when not online after all not progressing through the game is when not playing is why bots are illegal. Second I will vote against as I don't want any automated system. Show a list of offerings like craigs and then make players add the person and decide on a meeting location. Anything else is simply a revamped GE which wont pass.

I also think the offline function needs to go away. That's horrific. If that stays in I'm voting no. If it passes, I'm out.

What about players like me that can only play during off peak times when there is barely any players? Offline trading would be good for us as it gives us a fair chance to buy things we want or need. If there is hardly any players online when we play the chances of us being able to buy things we want or need will be pretty low, with some form of offline function that will help us be able to buy or sell things to other players.

Well Im canceling my Membership, This is just the grand exchange All over again.

Having no G.e Brings so many great things to the game.

1. Being able to get items/materials cheaper

2. Merching

3. People Interacting

4. Makes game more hardcore (not as easy)

5. Botters with tons of the same item will cause drop in prices making it harder for legit players to make money

6. You just killed your auto typer

7. Items will be 1 solid price what everyone else is sell them for

Your taking away one of the best parts about old school runescape so sad.

Will return When Taken out.

I'm going to counter every point you made.

1. The prices will be the same, the economy is still being changed by the players.
2. Merching happens now in World 1 with a ton of bots.
3. Trading bots is not interacting. And I didn't know saying Ty mattered that much.
4. How is it hardcore?
5. Bots are already doing this.
6. They don't care.
7. They won't be 1 solid price.
