For everyone crying over it ruining oldschool. The only thing ruining oldschool is people who whine like yourself. Oldschool was never meant to be 2007 specifically... Oldschool was brought back purely for the old combat system. August 15 2007 or whatever just happens to have had a carbon copy of the game.

Actually, no, it wasn't...sad for you that JaGex in it's wisdom didn't make you the pre-eoc server that you wanted, but quit trying to remake OSRS into one, thx.

You can believe that all you want lmao. They would have brought back any other version just as easily as long as it had old combat mechanics. Anything Pre-Eoc would have been brought back, the only reason the year of 2007 was brought back because it was a complete copy.

Yet they had a complete copy from right before the EOC was instated...and didn't use it...hmmm...wonder why that was...could it be that the online petition asked for 06, and 07 was the oldest intact database they had?

...or do you want to pull more facts from dark places they shouldn't be pulled from?

Jagex specifically said that the 2007 version was the only copy they had.

How about we add fun content and continue make it into an enjoyable, living game rather than this insufferable arguing about what is or isn't "old school". Thx.

You also realise that people ALREADY DO FLIP AND/OR MERC*, Right?

Of course I know that, but it's a lot more difficult to do without an automatic market machine such as the GE or AH. The average player would be much more willing to try it out if they had the help of the GE.

Please remove the offline part. That makes this whole update horrific. You fools ask for an oldschool version of the game and then ***** when it goes back to how it was. You guys are practically wanting a GE and it's ridiculous. You guys wouldn't know what you wanted if it crawled up your ass. It's OLDSCHOOL for a reason.
