I always thought 70% was pretty high.... I'm all for lowering it to 65%.

If we do lower it to 65% can we repoll everything that was between the 65-70%?

Including Elder Armour?

Pls.

If there are MANY polls that still passed with 75% req, i don't understand what went wrong with the polls system that passed content with >75%?

Might as reduce poll system to majority wins, so the majority "change-is-great" and "make osrs great again" junkies can always get what they want and therefore defeats the purpose of the threshold.

This would be excellent!! I have played as a pure and been a part od the clanning community for 13 years now. As a pure in oldschool, I felt like the content we were being provided was a little lacking. It would be great to see items such as god chaps, monkey madness, etc. be repolled. I hope this system goes through. The pure community is actually quite large and it would be great if they had more of a voice in some of these updates! :)

@ModRonan,

Have you thought to include a message box to give the player a chance to explain why they voted to choose no. Seeing as, if one chooses not to vote it just strengthens those who do. So to get a reason why the consciously wanted to vote no may give the Devs better insight on what opposing groups want as well.

And what about letting f2p with like 10+hours of gametime vote for f2p stuff?

Because then bots would flood polls. Noe friggin wai f2p gets votes.

Well, I usually don't reply or vote on polls, maybe because I trust my fellow OSRS players to vote on the right things or because I'm not that into the game yet.

ONE thing is for sure tho, I and MANY others have noticed the amazing increase in the 'daily online users' that's proof that everything is FINE the way it is.

Don't try to make that same mistake again and just hold on to your believes, at least for now.
With that said, I strongly advice against changing the percentage and leaving things out of the poll.

It's on 110,528 Online now, haven't seen that number in a while :O

The poll passing rate should be 80% or higher if anything. Too many players seem to automatically vote yes without researching what they are voting for, it's always the go-to answer.

No support for lowering poll passing rates to 70%, obviously. Not sure about the idea of letting groups of players decide certain changes, it's then a matter of letting a couple of people (the JMods) decide who is actually impacted by the update when it's not always so black and white due to the fact that OSRS is an MMORPG, every change impacts the player next to you in some way.

Completeley agreed, with all respect, it's a very stupid idea to devide into groups or anything of that sort. Would only make everything more difficult. Also, there are a lot of players that like to play every aspect a little and are not completely up to date with everything of one 'style' With that said, I kind of find it stupid that we're even talking about such an idea in the first place ;P
