I'm not sure how I feel about all of these ideas. Unlike many updates, I'm not really strongly opposed to anything but I think all of this is a bit of an overkill. I guess my main concern as always is the implementation. I'm hoping the skilling rates won't vastly increase with this update.

Also, I'd highly suggest not putting this into every world. There are too few players to fully rejuvenate the wild in every world. If added onto every world, most of these places would almost ensure great reward with little risk. I'm also unsure about your theory that skillers would attract pkers to pk pkers.

I disagree with this. If you were to implement this, it would require an equally worthwhile gold sink to the game. Please be aware of the impact it will have on the economy.

I disagree with this. If you were to implement this, it would require an equally worthwhile gold sink to the game. Please be aware of the impact it will have on the economy.


Not to mention those that venture out to level 20 wild probably weren't going to get their untradables back in the first place. I'd prefer that people just lose it upon death, regardless of where they are at in the wild.

Its not narrow minded. what is narrow minded though is ignoring the largest of your player base and serving them up to a minority of your player base for their amusement. To me that is narrow minded by definition. And it is sick and twisted. And its sad to see Jagex has not learned from the sins and mistakes they had made in the past by listening to this minority of players.

You see this update is as a update solely for pkers. In my eyes this update will benefit everybody.

Depending on the coins drop it might be a coin sink in effect. If skill capes cost 99k (and they do) but only give the pker 50k, thats 49k gone. Similiar for any bought item. With the torso\fire cape its true its just pure cash.:\

The question is how many ppl use fire capes\torso over 20.

Ditch has been there for 6 years now, which is nearly as long if not longer then it wasnt there. (Forget exactly when wilderness appeared, think 02..).

We know that flaming is part of the PvP experience and it can add to the atmosphere and tension that surrounds PvP. However, we have seen a number of people who have taken this beyond any acceptable limits on a regular basis. We want the PvP experience to be fun but when we see some players regularly making obscene comments about other PvPer’s family members, state of health or gender then we have to step in. Although most members of the community know where the line is, there are some unreasonable individuals who do not and we don’t believe you want these people as part of your community. We have identified these accounts and been monitoring them for some time and as of now they will find their accounts permanently muted.


The community is getting more aggressive, and that's why I don't like it, and I hate PVP because there's always an imbecile or pure who'll ruin the whole experience for you. People were more nicer back in actual 2007, and that's the community I love and miss. I had a lot of friends back then compared to now in which it's very difficult to find nice people.

Although I'm glad Jagex has taken measures against idiotic verbal abusers, lifting the censor in OSR like the main game only implemented a way for hostility to spread more easily, which is why I voted against it. Although I play the game censored, I still hate to see players engaging in an expletive delirium, and I do my best to avoid such confrontations. It must be an unwritten rule stating that one must be a jerk, especially when PK'ing.

I've rambled enough here. I'll just keep refraining from PVP and sticking to my bread and butter in skill'ing and PVM. I hope that my two cents is worth 37 dollars in change like the Most Interesting Man in the World. :P

I know that, I meant the wilderness itself. Think it was 02 which means 5 years without and over 5 with it in some form (since most of us played "the other game" i'm counting it with OSRS rather then scape's OSRS only.)
