The wildy ditch has also never been there for so long so why not remove it lol

Ditch has been there for 6 years now, which is nearly as long if not longer then it wasnt there. (Forget exactly when wilderness appeared, think 02..).

Finally, a lot of you have been asking us to add revenants which we would love to do, the question we need you to answer is what do they drop?

Since a PVP version of the GWD dungeon is going to be implemented, I don't think Revs should be added. Aviansies are going to drop noted adamant bars, so that's good. Also, Wildy will be packed with resources and other main attractions, so adding Revs would be somewhat redundant and a bit of an overkill.

If you think about it another way, the ditch was only around for 4 months before this back up, and then been around for another 11 months since the release of OSRS. That's 15 months of the ditch vs 5 years of not being there.

Alternatively, you could imagine that you are a time travelling penguin called Noodle to whom the ditch has only existed for a fraction of a second, but either way it's still been around for less time than not.

I rest my non- sensical case.

With regards to the main ideas of this update, I fully support the rejuvenation of the wilderness; more specifically though, I think that a few of the updates we could do without. For example, revenants were just annoying to me and their drops were not worth the annoyance when you were attempting to do things like train agility or actually wanted to do some legitimate PKing. I felt like they got in the way of PKing and only wasted your food when you tried to run away from them.

These suggestions are extremely extensive and this will certainly not be a small update to be taken lightly. I feel like "making skillers the bottom of the food chain" is a rather strange statement, because I engage equally in both PKing and skilling. However, the fact that it is in the wilderness and that you may reap greater rewards and benefits from risking your time in a dangerous area is a very key idea. This is originally how the Wilderness was supposed to be, so to see it returning to this brings a satisfying sense of achievement to the table in PKers' eyes.

"Noobs" in the most respectful sense of the word don't voluntarily venture into the wilderness like they used to, and making skillers their replacement does not serve to encourage community. Just because you can kill a skiller more easily in the wilderness doesn't necessarily mean that they can't fight back; there should be the sense of risk for both the PKers and for the skillers, but to encourage people to either choose to fight or work together (e.g., to kill things like the new monsters that drop dragon pickaxes) is not necessarily a good thing. I feel like that issues of backstabbing and trust problems with friends could become a problem here; I don't want it to become a concern for people to feel the need to report others when they are working together in the Wilderness. Do you know what I mean?

Lastly, the crystal bow reverting to a seed is not a solution IMO. It's costly enough as it is. People will just use a DDS... :@

I absolutely love all of these ideas though I think the king black dragon needs a huge boost in drops. As of now, it's already pretty much dead content since a visage is incredibly rare and its common drops are just not worth the effort. Now, if you update it so that you have to go back through the wilderness to just keep these drops, I think the kbd will be even less popular than before(if that is even possible). Another point I would like to make is that red dragons take quite a lot of walking to get to. There is also no close bank which makes it even more of a hassle. I don't think most players are going to bother with them unless their drops are improved to such a point where it would actually be worth the effort to go there. If the improved drops just aren't that good, then it'll just be dead content again. I really hope all of these ideas pass because I love pking :)

More red dragon locations might be a wise idea then. I obviously agree with the fact that their drop tables are lacking for the effort required to reach them and kill them efficiently. I'm also looking forward to the possibility of that White dragon if it's still in the works. :P
