@ DEVs

Hey guys, I hope you are reading all the posts. Please, I know many players are constantly offering suggestions, but, I have drafted a combination of ideas for the wilderness here.

Please read what I brainstormed. I would love to be a part of the brainstorming process. Please excuse any typos, I quickly typed up my ideas.

Also, as always, Ban Gp swapping and introduce the Universal Trading Board.

i believe these ideas are great and it hopefully will help! but i see ONE major problem with this.. If you do this to every world it will still be inactive as hell.. I believe this has to be limited to push people towards each other... As you said risk v reward..

If something like this isnt done all that will happen is more and more resources will be flooded into the game. IT has to be limited in some shape or form

No.

If a skiller has 28 ores, and a pker kills him, and has space for 10 of them, 18 go to waste, right?

If a skiller has 27 ores, and another 28 in the swag bag, then that's 55 ores. If the pker has 9 inventory spaces and an empty swag bag, then he can collect 37, and the other 18 go to waste.

I see it as zero-sum.

"Finally, a lot of you have been asking us to add revenants which we would love to do, the question we need you to answer is what do they drop?"

Maybe bring back brawlers? Being specifically dropped from revs (along with other misc. random drop items so that brawlers aren't a drop every kill). This way, it would bring interest into actually killing revs rather than always running away. It would be a bigger hit towards the skillers and also pkers hunting those running around the wilderness looking for revs. I personally think that before old wildly was brought back in 2011 or 2012 whenever it was, wildly was still breathing. People were always out using their brawlers. This made wildly breathe a little partly due to at least having people out in the wilderness.

Now for the skillers debate. Back in BH days, I remember "some" people protecting the skillers just for fun or kindness. I know I personally did when bored at times. But I also did kill them but there was also other people defending.

For example, not everyone skilling in the wilderness is a "pure" skiller. There's 126's that like to skill as well. Out of the crowd that may be fishing at a fishing spot, one of those five people could be an anti-pker. This is what people did back in BH days. Think about people. Don't be so harsh about the wildly to skill in. It'll bring some fun into the wildly rather than it being a ghost town.

So what if it goes to waste? That is less excess in the game. Even now pkers killing other opkers won't always be abl to loot everything. That is a great way for items to leave the game.

It isn't exactly quick to travel from a bank to the wild and back so swag bags would make it more worthwhile.

or he can think outside of the box and alch them, or tele down with portal then tele back up with ancients to pick up the ore and do what successful pkers do; think outside of the box.

I'm not sure about the amount of stuff on here, maybe we could start out with a single boss because i don't see so many things being active on the amount of worlds we have. I mean there's one guy that's going to have 10 scout accounts at each spot..but maybe we could have like 5 worlds marked for the resources to be, or a boss that spawns on different worlds and everybody has to log in that world to kill it as shown on the world list the world that it's in.

Holy, cow! "Think outside the box?" Nobody actually said that, except for marketing guys and other conmen, even when it was in fashion to say it.

You were apparently so busy necromancing some dead newspeak that you forgot to make any sense. After he alchs his booty, why does he want to teleport around? How does ancient magic teleport him back to where the kill occurred? How does he alch anything with ancient magic enabled?

thanks for the reply McGee, they were 2 separate solutions. If you weren't some skilling junkie you'd know that ancients can teleport you around the wilderness and one of the spots is fairly close to rune rocks. inferior magic levels on both rs and eoc probably let the retardation shine through though.
