A couple of suggestions to address some of the complaints I've seen reading through this thread:

1. The 'swag bag' is an ok name, but some people don't seem to like it... Can I suggest calling it a 'Bag of Holding' instead?

I think this fits pretty well with it's intended purpose as a loot bag, and it's always fun to get a little D&D vibe going on :)

2. It seems that some 1v1 PKers like having an un-interrupted strip of single-way combat area into the deeper wilderness on this side of the map, and the introduction of the multi-way section at the green dragons kinda ruins this.

Maybe the green dragons + their proposed multi-way combat region could be move east of the dark warrior's fortress?

Although, I guess doing this brings the dragons closer to the bank, so maybe that's not the best solution...

I truly love all these ideas! The only issue I can see would be the multi-way combat which many players have already pointed out, so that may be something to look at again! But this is incredibly exciting. The OSRS never ceases to amaze me :D

PS: Could the SwagBag possibly be called a "Skillers bag" instead? Or "Loot bag"?

How about a new rare random event that can ONLY happen in the wilderness.

An Assassin will appear, very high level, deals very high damage, uses a D scimmy and a DDS for special attacks, can randomly also cast any barrage spell. He will also eat, like revenants used too. If you kill the assassin he drops some good stuff, any thoughts on what it would drop people?


You mean random event as in sea troll right? In which case he outta be based on your combat level since only you can target him and tossing a level 120 random at a level 3 isn't a challenge its impossible.

Yes, I meant he would randomly appear, but rarely.

About the untradables turning into coins past level 20 wilderness, make sure all the players know this, because I am sure there will be some very unhappy players on the forums once they find out the hard way.

About the "resource area", I am not too sure about that one, I know I said in my earlier post that I like all the ideas, but after some more thought I am having second thoughts on the "resource area", to me personally it doesn't seem like it belongs in the wilderness.

About the Red Chinchompa area, letting us use an extra trap is good, but also increase the catch rate perhaps?

pkers can pick on skillers (resources and stuff) but pkers can't pick on other pkers (read griefing/flaming section), why do pkers get treated like this?
Why does there need to be an incentive to pk, if people don't want to pk they wont, but if they do they will

i hope youve thought about people who do clues too! it wont be fun getting like 4 wilderness locations in one clue (which is usually the case) just to battle against people in wilderness and fail to get to the clue spot :(
