Pahw*ik Ezas,

Why don't players go to green dragons in the wild, which way easier and faster to kill?

To kill blue dragons easy, you have to either do quests or have a decent agility level for shortcut, and yet players would rather do the quests and train agility in order to kill blue dragons or black dragons, because they don't want to compete with bots which are killing green dragons?

And how many people are flocking to kill the bots at green dragons? and How many pkers are flocking to kill those killing the bots at green dragons?

What did you prove me wrong on again?

Just noticed why are the revenant creatures in a single combat spot? They were multi pre eoc, not that we have to copy pre-eoc but I find this part a bit strange.

As for what they could drop perhaps they could have a very, very rare chance of dropping shield parts/d pick
-I'd like to see a morrigan javelin equivalent personally (not tailor-made specifically for pvp though), maybe just simply dragon javelin with a decent special attack?
-could also drop a variety of useful pvp resources and equipment such as prayer potions, dragonhide armor, things that a player would drop since they somewhat mimic players.
-Most importantly I'd like to see them give full xp, their reduced xp was honestly the worst thing about them.

-My ideas for some of the content-

KBD changes:

Since we won't be able to teleport from the lair anymore, why not also add an automatic skull after leaving the lair but in order for that additional risk make the KBD drop visage more frequently and of course you can double all other drops particularly noted items.
This is something I disagree with. Skillers won't bother if they are instantly skulled. I agree with the whole drop table revamp but if they are already having to run down from the wild I think that's enough risk.

Dragon pickaxe alch value should be low aswell so people lose it over most items in the wild. Maybe lower than whips, godswords and such but higher than dhide?

What do skillers have in common with the KBD? They won't be killing the KBD, mostly seasoned players with good combat skills.
Skillers/pvmers. Same thing really to me, just pretend I said Pvmers instead of skillers in that post if it helps..

skillers are more submissive!

After rethinking this update, ive come to the conclusion that its not going to work. the wilderness is awesome the way it is, why change it? This is old school runescape, lets stick to the old school theme.

Here are very simple ways that bring more people to the wild

1) Buff KBD, red dragon drop rates, include dragon pickaxe drop from K*D

2) Buff monsters roaming wild

3) add more rune rocks

4) Add a mini boss that spawns in various locations that has a chance of dropping dragon pickaxe and food that heals 22 in noted form(like 50 noted Cursed Sharks(heals 22)).

5) leave skilling OUT of the wilderness. Its a place for pkers, not skillers. There is no incentive for a skiller to skill for a few extra resources when they can easily die instantly.

Thats all that needs to be done. seriously. changing the entire wild just to bring people to it is NOT a good idea. Im sorry jagex. 2007 is great the way it is, I think this update will do more harm than good.

Yeap, reduce the number of worlds and skillers definitely won't go to the wild. Skillers hate competing for resources. PvMers hate competing for kills.
If anything, it would make them do it in the wild even more seeing as the spots outside of the wild will be more busy aswell. There are far far far too many worlds and it needs to be cut in like half or something.

I agree with the swag bag being tradable though.

Nah, would not drive skillers to the wild, just to different nonwild areas. Reduced worlds would hurt the wild skillers jagex is looking to bring into the wild.

I can go into the wild and compete with other skillers in the wild over resources, while also risking being pked? No thanks.

That means less skillers going into the wild with reduced worlds.

It actually would force more skillers into the wildy as the wildy would be less active with people after resourses therefore keeping a balanced game throughout the wilderness and also outside of the wilderness.. just because you dont want to go into the wilderness doesnt mean others dont that is your opinion alone and only your opinion. Less worlds would help the game and the community in general. Just because you dont like the wilderness doesnt mean others wont.

All in all everything seems Awesome! Here's my input:

-
Change the name of the Swag Bag, swag isn't very old school

-
Having 6 boxes at chinchompas isn't that great of an idea, at high hunting levels it's hard enough keeping up with 5 traps. Why not just buff the xp on wildy chins a bit.

-
Most of these resource ideas seem great, but with the travel time to a bank on top of the risk of being killed. I'd probably just avoid them altogether. However the "bag that shan't be named" could change this.

-
What other monsters will be seeping through from the GWD? The aviansie idea seems great, but no other gwd monsters offer any real incentive to kill except spiritual mages. (
maybe have some followers of bandos that drop ourg bones?
)

I'll be personally voting no to all the "push skillers into the wilderness". Skillers (Fishers, woodcutters etc) have no chance at all against a pker, and brining "armor and weapons" wont change that - a dedicated pker will have food and supplies that a skiller can not bring if they want to actually skill. Bosses I have no issue with, PvM'ers would at least stand a mild chance - but a fisher who a handful of sharks tops? No.

Oh and sharks would be damaged if you put a better fish in..

I have proved you wrong that people are willing to go into the wilderness if the reward is worth the risks, as green dragons actually dont actually bring much interest ofc people arent gonna be 100s of 100s after the dragons in the wilderness for that reason alone. The wilderness is still not updated and for that reason its obviously gonna be dead at dragons. For the wilderness to survive they cant just do one single simple update a yr or even a month, they have to rework it as a whole if they are wanting it to grow and survive.. and that is exactly what they are trying to do here.
