If Pkers want to fight each other for whatever they're carrying, great. Why must skillers always be used as bait? If a pker also skills, great. Let "them" be the bait? Pkers and skillers have two different skill sets. I wouldn't know how to pk and I don't want to learn. And before someone looks me up and says I don't have the correct build, true. But I am maxed in EOC (other then having only 117 dungeroneering and 80 divination), and I didn't pk there either.

Why would I even want to go into the wildy - there is nothing you offer that would compensate for my being made into mincemeat or used as bait for a certain death.

And why aren't the pkers flocking to the two pk worlds if pking is, in fact, so popular? Genuine question, not being sarcastic. Currently there are 16,000 people playing on line and a grand total of 298 on the two pk worlds.


Speak for yourself, i'm a level 126 skiller. Skillers aren't all level 3s with pathetic combat stats.

I will gather resources, kill the new monsters and profit with a fighting chance. If you're not up to dealing with a high risk, the wilderness is simply not for you.

This Is a Very Nice Read And I Like All Of These Ideas Except 1. This Idea Of The Fountain Of Runes Is Nice And All But If For Say, Players Begin To Alch At This Tree And Alch Items Such As Yew Longbow (U's) Begin To Become More In Demand. Wouldnt That Only Increase The Cost Of The Items They Alched? This Would Only Cause Alching For People Who Actually Do It For The Exp To Be A Nonprofitable And Watse Of Xp Spell.

"If these new resources aren't limited to a few worlds, then the wilderness will stay dead.

Reason for this is, someone could be gathering a resource in a world with 100 people with no danger.

Prices would crash, and there would be no risk going into the wilderness.

For this update to work the best, needs to be limited to 2-3 worlds. I hope the Jagex team can see that."

KBD changes:


Since we won't be able to teleport from the lair anymore, why not also add an automatic skull after leaving the lair but in order for that additional risk make the KBD drop visage more frequently and of course you can double all other drops particularly noted items.
This is something I disagree with. Skillers won't bother if they are instantly skulled. I agree with the whole drop table revamp but if they are already having to run down from the wild I think that's enough risk.

Dragon pickaxe alch value should be low aswell so people lose it over most items in the wild. Not extremely low, but somewhere right in the sweet spot to make bringing rune to KBD worth it and not to the point where it's a guaranteed loss if you die.

What do skillers have in common with the KBD? They won't be killing the KBD, mostly seasoned players with good combat skills.

Get your filthy hands off my wilderness. Leave east dragons single combat. Making things multi doesn't make it better, as a good example check out EOC where the wilderness is deader than ever.

Pretty much everything in this post will help so much and everything if not 90% the majority of the game would agree with

Some of the multi lines on your Wilderness Map are wrong, ice plateau gate/north 44 ports aren't multi - neither is alot of the far east side of the map below 45ish wilderness

Skillers/pvmers. Same thing really to me, just pretend I said Pvmers instead of skillers in that post if it helps..
