No No No No. Any more new weapons or abilities to weapons should be unwelcome. I'm sick of seeing people trying to make things easier. The whole trinket thing is dumb because that completely goes against the point of the wild being dangerous. The combined runes, sure you can have that. And heres an idea, coins stack. So how about when a monster drops them, you pick them up? Derp.

- Fury ornament kit -
Very Rare, 1

- Mist Runes -
Common, 15-25 -

- Dust Runes -
Common, 15-25

- Mud Runes -
Common, 15-25

- Coin magnet -
Rare, 1 -
Picks up coins that monsters drop similar to charming imp! Also increases coins you steal from npcs.

- Slimy Ooze -
Uncommon, 5-10 -
Non-tradeable. use on farming patch to prevent disease. Doesn't work on trees.

- Crystal Trinket -
Rare, 1 -
Use them on certain items to imbue their special attacks. Similar to a whip vine, your pker gets the trinket and the weapon that it was attached to. See page 125 for spec ideas.

- Shade Spirit -
Between uncommon and rare, 1 -
Tradeable. Ask the witch in Edgeville about it and she will yell at you for bringing a cursed item into her house. She will put a curse on you that REMOVES XP but will let you choose which combat skill is affected (up to 5 times per account so it can't be abused. No skills over 10) This will be for pures or skillers who level the wrong skill. I was thinking it could be like an aura that floats in the air only visible to the killer of the monster. Use something like an impling jar on it to capture it.

- Amulet of Hiding -
Between Rare and Very Rare, 1 -
Makes you invisible to aggressive monsters while you wear it.


Thoughts?


Good ideas. The coin magnet interests me the most.

Ugh......... Let's just get scroll drops for instant 99s. While we continue making this game a joke. No, this update in its simplest form is great. Stop going deeper than you need to. Put in the resources, in themselves they are worth the danger to get them. And the chain they described will work itself out. Everyone is worried about every little thing they can get. Just stop.

The trinket is to balance useless, unused special attacks.

The coin magnet is useful because most people who train slayer or pvm at all don't pick up coins as monsters drop insignificant amounts. You also get less xp/hr if you spend time looting. Why do you think people used a bonecrusher pre-eoc? To save time.

Also, revs in some form are probably going to be added. Rewards are going to have to be created for them. Mods are asking for ideas so I thought of what I could. What do you suggest they drop?

Making items available outside of the Wilderness

There has been a request for the new items to be available outside of the Wilderness. The purpose of this content is to drive activity in the Wilderness and if we were to introduce these items outside of the Wilderness it would dilute the activity. However, the new items will be tradeable so you will be able to buy them if you don't like PvP. They will be expensive to start with but the prices will settle down in time.

I noticed spider boss is now in single combat, was this intentional? Strange how it's the only boss to be that way.

Also if you're removing green dragons from multi can we have revs in multicombat? :(

I am also concerned the new ores by the frozen waste plateau will be far too safe, as the older rune spot is surrounded by multicombat zones it becomes much more dangerous to try and escape. The resource area also has this problem.
