Next time don't take the lazy approach and consult us first before making such drastic changes.

In a couple of months time the twisted bow or blowpipe w/ rigour will be more powerful than the ballista in this current state, so your theory is kinda flawed anyway and really just contradicts itself.

twisted bow wont be that strong in pvp

I'm not a pk'er but I bet they're all fuming. They abruptly nerf ballista. But put D claws on the devblog though? ...Makes sense.

Range finally had a fun KO type weapon, now all the KO weapons go back to melee class. Leaving range and mage with essentially nothing of value.

The problem ultimately lies with the incorporation of granite maul spec when using almost anything. That's the real issue nobody is talking about.

EDIT: This will also effect PvM'ers and hinder on demonic gorillaz gp/hour potential. Everyone is taking a hit from this change apart from skillers.

Seems like it's now completely worthless both for dps and as a dbow alternative for ko. Could you consider changing the spec to be 50%, and giving it the prenerf spec max hit, so it's actually useful for something? It's now basically the barrelchest anchor of range, slow and useless.

Also, reverting the ranged accuracy would at least give it some niche against high defence targets

I have to wonder if all the QQ'rs ever thought of wearing a shield? Hopefully this nerf will allow for developments for Range without mention of the Ballista against such progress.

Still waiting on Magic KO options! (I have several ideas that wouldn't require Dev or QA time)

Agreed with this, feels like prejudice is apart of the recent balance changes. since the OS community feels too preciously over their Gmaul. Meleers want the powerful range weapon away, but sit comfortably on gmaul rushing as part of their own arsenal. Could've fixed both weapons imo.

agree with this, good luck ever getting melee spec weapons in check, anything that challenges that challenges the standard melee pvp'r must be checked...
