Just let question 4 pass... What would you rather have, 8 thousand people complaining about getting a grand exchange or 21 thousand people complaining that they didn't get a grand exchange. I know it's hard to satisfy everyone but the right thing to so is satisfy the majority rather than the minority.

I don't know what it is why people want to make it harder by not wanting a grand exchange... I know that every player gets annoyed at some point waiting for people to buy/sell an item.
A grand exchange would make it easier to obtain quest items.
A grand exchange would be really helpful to 07 because most traders sell in bulk which means we can't buy a small amount of an item, for example: I wanted to make 1500 iron arrow tips, and I made 1455 of them, no one is going to sell me 3 iron bars because they want to sell them in bulk but if there was a grand exchange, I could easily go buy the 3 iron bars with no problem.

I hope a jmod reads this and takes my thoughts into consideration because the majority of old school want an automatic trading post, so why not give them it?

If they don't add a trade system that you can make trades automatically i hope they don't update it at all. It makes no sense to add a trading post to the game cuz it will just take away from the current trading post that works fine. If they poll something like the GE i will vote yes.

If they poll something that still requires you to trade with players i'm going to vote no. It just doesn't make sense to vote yes to something that will make it harder then it is now to trade. The point of this update is to fix the problem not make it worse...

If there's gonna be a trading post (which I wouldn't like), it should be in falador park. That was the centrum of economics back in the days.

I don't get why people can't just trade ffs, it's not that hard. Right click player, press trade... You don't need a GE/trading post for that. Don't be lazy.

Original message details are unavailable.

for example: I wanted to make 1500 iron arrow tips, and I made 1455 of them, no one is going to sell me 3 iron bars because they want to sell them in bulk but if there was a grand exchange, I could easily go buy the 3 iron bars with no problem.

Make your own bars, or buy 3 for 10k...
I don't get why people have to rush the game. Just take it easy and slow, grand exchange isn't compatible with the old school feeling...

the last thing I would want is an 'auction' house... Imagine putting a bid up for something and the item gets sniped with 2 seconds left to go, unless they make it like fifa where if someone bids on the item when the time remaining is under 30 seconds, the timer should reset to the 30 seconds to make it a fair battle to get the item.
But this would mess up the economy because there would be people who have huge amounts of money who are willing to bid insane prices on an item that they need right away, so the price range of that item would be unstable.

I'm not really bothered what update there is as long as I get an item within 10 minutes.

Definitely leaving all of Runescape for good if something like the G.E. comes to old school. That completely destroys the point of oldschool... You're going to loose all the veteran players i.*. the permanent ones if this is released. We already have *****, which is all you need. None of that auto-trading crap, where's the fun in that? But hey, wouldn't be the first time Jagex ruins this game... I should have seen it coming tbh.

Really though. The people that will be playing this indefinitely are the ones that love the old school feel.

You can predict the decisions Jagex is gonna make though, they love to dissapoint. Jagex, go ahead and add a G.E., change the way the wilderness works, upgrade the graphics, add in all the new content, and totally destroy the game.

I have always liked the idea of an auction house. I think players are concerned that some sort of AH would crash the economy some how, but really I think the economy lies within the community. We shape how much cash flow goes around 07, and how much something should cost in game.
