selfish is scamming others through merchanting.
selfish is setting prices so high it ruins what others can do.
selfish is a small group trying to force others to do what they want.

no, the 71% aren't the selfish ones. frankly my dear, I couldn't give a dam. never had a river to build one on.

only like 60 percent of rs maybe wanted to try or do beta. most of wich did not do it or logged out because it was crap. then 82 percent of people that finished beta liked it. so actually like 70 % of rs hated beta and they still emplimented it. now that's pathetic.

in evolution of crap I am still ranked 67046 and 2341 total. and when evolution of crap implemented I only needed to kill nomad.

I was 132 combat and 97 att, 93 str, 93 def, 95 hp, 88 range, 99 mage, 99 prayer, 99 summoning. and wearing prayer cape and baby dragon. other 132 combat with maxed combat had low summoning. I was proud of what I had. but thanks to evolution of crap I lost it all.

I used to be in ge buyin and selling stuff I gathered or skilled. and people would start to say lending ags 100k an hour. when people trying to manage price I would just trade and lend item for free for 24 hrs. let me guess ant eater you were the guy trying to scam people out of money. I lent my high lvl weapons out for free all the time and yes to strangers I did not even no.

this is not a selfish person you are for not trying to help your fellow person!!!!!!!

and after eoc I sold everything

What if there were multiple trading posts scattered around RuneScape? They'd work in a similar way to lodestones, and depending on which trading post your seller is at would allow you to teleport to their location for a small fee... idk. This would save having to walk all the way to the sellers location to buy an item, but would eliminate the idea of being able to teleport there freely... so the player may choose to walk there.

Just throwing out some ideas, it might sound stupid to everyone else.

My reply migth be a tad bit late as the voting has already started.. days ago. But Iv'e got an opinion on the meet/not meet-Online/Offline debate. this is what i think

The seller may choose to use the AH transferral service for a small fee and the item will be sent to the buyer directly. If the seller goes offline(30min+) an additional fee will be taken out for sold items = You gain less money for an item if you are not online while it sells and it also adds an cash dump.

tidasf10 Tell me how are you not voting selfish. Aren't you voting for what you want and not the majority wants. As it clearly shows according to the 20k votes that the majority voted yes. So maybe you are selfish. But look stop being a troll, and stop calling us selfish. Because we can call you selfish for voting for what you wanted. I'm gonna be pretty honest, I don't find this good for the OSRS. Honestly, the OSRS is good as it is right now. Grand Exchange or somewhat like that (Trading post) will cut the player interaction and that's why this game is fun, because you have to interact with other players to get what you need. So, is this gonna stay OSRS or are we gonna turn this into a second EoC? Grand Exchange ruined the other game in all kinds of aspects, the prices came down so skillers find not-worth to get the resources as the prices are coming down like hell. Players start to get "cocky" (Sorry for the term, but it's the only one who actually adapts to the situation) and start to play by themselves what will reduce the fun of the game. Don't add that to the game otherwise the community will get worse again. And in 2007 I'm pretty sure this didn't exist, we didn't have this ease to get to the sellers. It's fine as it is, don't ruin it again please.

no one talks,only trade,put offer in and descline or accept,i supposed to be arround the ge in the real 08 and that was really sociable,this isnt,this is just because people need eachother and they have to interact,not that they want to

I don't really understand why the #4 haven't gone over 75%.
People are asuming it will destroy the the social part of runescape?
If you can make the trades in the trading post you can still trade other people who are also looking for that sociial part. You don't take away that part if you allow trades to be made over the trading post.
Vote yes for the #4 option
And it seems like the bigger part of the community wants it so I think you should skip the 75% req
