I suggest these changes to poll questions:

Question: Should we introduce a trading post where you can post trade offers which will be visible to everyone?

Question: If we introduce the trading post, should players’ trade offers be visible only when they are online and not when they are offline? We can make it so trades remain visible for 5 minutes after a player goes offline for changing worlds and short disconnects, and make the offers re-appear when the player comes back online so the offers don't need to be reposted every time a player logs off, disconnects, or changes worlds.

Question: If we introduce the trading post, should players’ trade offers be visible when they are offline?

Question: If players' trades are visible when they are offline, should they be visible for: (Choose the answer you like best. The answer with the greatest number of votes will pass and does not require 75%)
1) 5 minutes.
2) Up to but not more than 6 hours. (The exact amount of time can be determined later)
3) More than 6 hours but not more than 48 hours. (The exact amount of time can be determined later)
4) Up to one week.

Question: If we introduce a trading post through which you are able to buy and sell items, should the player posting the offer be able to specify you must buy or sell in increments? For example if the increment was 1000, you would have to buy 1000 or 2000, or 5000, etc., you could not buy or sell just 1 or 999 or 2012 or 4885, you would have to trade in multiples of the increment specified.

If you allow buying while offline then it's just the Grand Exchange. Only selling offers should be allowed while offline just like the Auction Houses in many other MMO's.

There actually shouldn't be any buy offers at all. People should only be able to buy from a person who is currently selling. They should not be able to put a buy offer in and wait for someone to sell for the amount they want to buy at.

I disagree about you saying there should be no buy offers. There should be buy offers as well as sell offers. There should even be open ended offers with a player able to offer GP and not specify an item and just see what people offer for the GP.

Say I want to buy a bone spear for a clue scroll, but no one is selling. I should be able to post a buy offer for a bone spear when there are no sell offers so players will know I want one.

Say I have 100 million to spend but I don't know what I want to buy. I should be able to offer the 100 million GP and see what items I am offered for the GP.

How about the idea of only beeing able to put down "sell" offers in this new trading system? that would make offline merchanting near impossible, beacouse there is no overtime buying while beeing offline. wich would at lease stop that for the biggest part. i didn't like the whole buy part in eoc when ge was introduced in the first place, it got ppl lazy (including myself overtime). maybe this is something to concider in the new maybe comming trading system for 07scape

My version of the new trade system.

You walk into Auction House and post a sell offer, I am posting 50 Iron ores. Now a buyer comes a long from a different world and sees my offer. He posts into my offer with wanting to buy 10 iron ores. So i receive a notification on my side at the Auction house saying a player wants to buy 10 iron ores. So from the offer i can send him a direct PM stating details of the trade. 'Meet at World 302 @ Auction House'. Now the buyer can also send me a PM. As soon as he recieves me PM my colour on his map changes to a diferent colour for 10 minutes(allowing him to see me easily on the map, if there are players on the same spot as me then it will show mine and not theirs which happens on some occasions with friends.) This little bit allows players to meet the players without having to add them so its easier to find them. Now once he has bought the iron ores off me i can edit my Offer on the Auction house to say that I have 40 iron ores left to sell.
Also once my iron ores are all sold I go to the Auction House and click a box that says Sold Out. Now when buyers look Iron ore sellers. It will show my name But with a little Icon indicating that I have sold out. This wil stay only for one hour after all sold out. Why? Because when some people are looking for offers and none are available they can probably ask the player if they are going to get any more later on. Also without Adding to friends list. All of this is for convenience for players.

Pleease let me know what you think of this.

I believe something like a mailbox would work efficiently, say a mailbox outside of a few banks in runescape where people can send mail to other players and specify the amount of cash they want for their item and the player on the other end can accept or decline this offer.

What if you want to buy an item for which there are no current sell offers? Or none which match the price you want?

Players need to be able to place buy offers.

People are gonna pick to buy low and sell high, It just seems like a lot of work and more time trying to buy a certain amount of something than if it was just the G.E setup where the items were just bundled into groups of their price range. The only people that don't want the G.E are the merchers, and they ruin the game themselves by taking advantage of the needs of people and exploiting the prices with merchant bots. At least with the Grand Exchange you didn't see it happening even though it still did. You keep talking that you want the game to be a social experience but you could just do that by making more mini-games that involved more players. Or you could add group quests that take multiple people to do it with(not just Shield of Arrav and Heroes). When people want to buy and sell an item they don't care about that 5 second interaction and I(and everyone else) don't become friends with people they trade. They simply get their item or cash and move on with the game. Simplifying the trading system by putting the G.E into the game would make getting an item or your cash faster so you could actually do your clue scroll or finish your quest. To be honest the game was perfect the week before the EoC came out and should of just continued separately from that and the EoC should of had to start with a fresh account since in one update you changed the game more than all the other updates combined. With all the changes in Old School RS so far the game is far from August 2007. More effort should be placed in ridding the game of the bots that influence the prices more than merchers. People can still make money with the 5% up and down offers on the G.E. Playing the game should be the social aspect of it, not the procurement of items. The Grand Exchange was a very social place pre EoC with people skilling at the banks and maybe you could add a mini-game in the middle to attract more people.

Ok so I didn't see this but if someone already wrote it and was responded by osrs team please tell me my question is if everything passes will there be a price on every item
Example I trade my friend a rune scimitar in the bottom will there be a price for it what it's worth cause if auction house is sorta of simlar how will some players know if the price what it should be what if clans put a certain price and spam the offers for a insane amount some people won't know and buy
