I also find it very strange that the elder helm carries the most str bonus? That seems odd to me.

The bonuses are carried over from current best-in slots, the Elder helm has the same str bonus as the Serpentine helm, the platebody the same as the Bandos chestplate, and the platelegs the same as the Bandos tassets. Apparently people didn't want them to increase your max hit, I think each piece should've been given a +1.

Claws aren't even OP guys, ags->gmaul or ballista->ags or ballista->gmaul or just dark bow on it's own are all way more op. Those specs can't be eaten through, Dragon claws can be eaten through AND there's an item called the phoenix necklace that was the go-to for stopping claws.

Some great concepts here! Like everything except for those last 3 armour sets still, I just dont think we need anything better than Bandos, Armadyl and Ahrims/Ancestral right now. Hope the other items pass the poll!

Alternative Dinh's Bulwark Special effect ideas
:

- Group potion share effect that raises all players defense in a 5x5 area to an Overload level (this effect alone would infinitely keep Dinh's Bulwark a valuable item to PVM Teams, and therefore valuable price-wise)

- An effect to attract NPC aggressiveness towards the wielder for 60 seconds (this would ensure that the Tank is actually performing as such, in the cases where Tank cannot guarantee that every
A very good idea

That's it. 500k per hour will make the armor worthless. You aren't going to make 500k more per hour at any boss in the game because you're wearing this armor. That makes wearing the armor a net LOSS and makes equipping it nothing more than a show of wealth. The developers are listening, please choose your points carefully.

It doesn't need to be 500k/hr. However the point is these are the BIS armours for nearly EVERY situation. They provide the best str/accuracy bonuses and in turn will speed up current kill times to balance out the cost. This isn't one of those niche arclight sort of upgrades to the combat system. Let's have a look at the elder armour for example.

Attack bonuses: The elder platebody outclasses the BCP in almost every attack bonus category, including a lower penalty for magic. The only stat it doesn't beat it in is the ranged attack bonus which it is equivalent to.

Defence bonus: The elder platebody has better defence bonuses than the dharoks platebody in every stat except magic defence.

It has the same strength bonus and 1 better prayer bonus than the BCP.

Attack bonuses: The elder platelegs outclass tassets in every attack bonus style except range where it has a further -1.

Defence bonus: The elder platelegs have better defensive bonuses in every stat except for magic where it has a further -1. I am discounting the -5 ranged defence bonus it currently states as I'm sure it is a typo given how it is a melee armour and therefore shouldn't have a negative ranged defence bonus.

It has the same strength bonus as tassets but one better prayer.

Currently the elder top/platelegs are BIS for any situation except where you might want a high prayer bonus which rules out most bosses and slayer tasks where the NPC uses more than 1 style.

you guys just ignorign the polls which said the armour failed?

It failed only by a couple percent, and they got feedback on what we'd like done to it. They tweaked it a bit.

Although I didn't think people wanted it to degrade...

A "couple percent"? What is that, like 2 or 3 percent? Maybe you want to claim 5% is only a couple? Or is it 10 to suit your purposes?

Try this then:

68.5% (23419 yes votes) on content poll 47 (Sept. 8)

60.0% (17192 yes votes) on content poll 48 (October 7)

Failing at 15 percent BELOW the required 75%, is significantly MORE than a "couple percent" but do carry on painting your rainbows and unicorns.

first get your numbers right

second, yea they failed, but the majority of players like the idea and the reward itself, so why delete the idea of something that can be fixed and make it into the game?
