As much as I disagree with the U-turn stance Jagex are taking on claws I honestly think if they are going to add them it shouldn't be from raids. Here's a better idea to add claws to the game.

If you create a new grandmaster quest, make it the rewards from that quest. However there would be a slight change to the claws of the past. The quest should require close to max QPs at the time to even begin and you would unlock a demi-boss style NPC to kill after the quest. They would drop the claws. HOWEVER this time, don't make the mistake which was made in RS3 where you could use the claws without having completed the quest.

I'm for rewards like this. However i do not think they should be "super rare items" Of course they should have some rarity to them. however, if they are extremely hard to obtain this will bring back the issue pre-eoc had. Of rich players running the game. it was impossible to kill someone with Torva and Divine if you did not have those items yourself. it took out the skill value of the game. im for these items as long as they have a rarity value to keep there prices around 50m-100m and not a 500m+ super rare item.

Absolutely LOVE the new weapons (except d claws) and how they have unique effects. Also excited for the new magic damage ancestral robes. However, I'm still not a fan of the elder, twisted, and kodai sets. If we really need new armor for all three combat styles, I'd suggest that there aren't 2 different new mage robes in one update. I know raids are supposed to be big, but that seems a much for my taste.

As a side note: I thought there was an issue with making the 3a longbow able to fire dragon arrows because they were originally meant for the dark bow only? This was a while back so I don't quite remember the details on that, but won't that still be an issue? And if not can we give the 3a longbow the ability to use dragon arrows as well?
Because the thing you lack when you're looking back is the pressure, the feel that you have to act

You've got me sold on these rewards, I'll be voting yes on everything suggested as is here in the dev blog.

I also like the idea of having one set of robes that are DPS focused,
and one set that's more focused on tanking.

Horrible.

The powercreep is moving forward way too fast. I dislike the way this game is evolving, it's a repeat of the rs2 --> rs3 game. Different names and different things, but... the powercreep that destroys everything non-combat is prevalent.

Raids and bosses will once again be the only thing ingame where you can reap serious rewards.

Bloody horrible.
Isn't it strange that so many players blindly apply to clans, without ever wondering why there are openings in that clan?

I cant see the bulwark being used in alot of places (probably just for quests where you never need to hit back, but as it stands quests aren't challenging enough for this to be valuable). Aside from that it could probably make you last at bosses longer in bigger teams, but having the tank attack back would, I imagine, almost always be more efficient.

If the ancestral robes only dropping from the final challenge of raids supposed to make them rarer and more expensive than kodai because they dont degrade then you kind of messed up because using kodai is much better and only costs 100k gp per hour for the full set. So you end up with a final challenge only reward being less valuable and desired than rewards you can get other places. I suggest you either only make 1 of the robe sets or you make ancestral robes more common than kodai.
Edit: i forgot about the magic damage buff, nvm my latter opinion.

The bulwark is a no for me looks like an item that will make doing corp less meaningful and it looks op for a tank to use in a gwd group also the shield seems like a radical rs3/eoc idea.dragon claws no unless while gothic style sleeps is added somehow no some similar quest like mm2 and dg
New armor is only appealing thing to me tbh I don't see how gwd armor will be harmed I mean they should be much cheaper cause no item sink but new top tier gear could be used as sink like the dpl8 dchain idea plus tbh new armor stats are really not even close to as good as the nex ones Everton says they are. In fact it's sad. Bulwark a shield is better then elder pl8. Bulwark is like torva pl8 tank level
