It's a brand, it hasn't been "oldschool" for years now ever since we got new content. The game needs new content to survive, obviously you haven't seen how low the player count was before Godwars was added to OSRS.

Dragon Claws - Yes, alot of people think d claws and instantly think of 1 hitting people int he wildy when in actual fact an ags - gmaul combo is deadlier, d claws are also a decent PvM weapon.

Armours - stop re-doing the armour with different names and worse stats just put the old ones in with worse stats, if we're copying pre-eoc do it correctly

Can we see some of this content elsewhere in game. 1st option bring back rev caves but make the monsters slightly tougher with a rarer drop rate it will make multi pking really nice and it will be nice to see clans trying to hold worlds down.

No to claws. Reasons should be pretty obvious.

As for the others, I'm skeptical about some of the rewards and exactly how they'll play out when it comes to the balancing of the game. It'd be nice if we could get a beta world to test these weapons out, similar to the tournament worlds to see how they'd affect the combat balance.

I can't help but feel with the twisted bow being a renamed hexhunter bow from dungeoneering just making everything that requires/efficient to kill with range becoming the bis by a mile.

Once again with the armours though, if your aim is to make them expensive to use then you need to make them far more expensive to use. 100k/hr is nothing if the aim is for it to only be used in high level PvM since after your slayer buffs most slayer tasks will earn you 5x that amount in less than an hour.

Really like the raid rewards. I don't mind having Dragon Claws ingame as long as they're not that overpowerd like they used to be in Rs3. :) other then that, Great work once again. :D

1) They resulted multiple bosses just being camped by teams with claws, speccing out the boss with little to no risk since it'd be dead in seconds.

2) They were stupidly implemented originally in RS. Not requiring people to have completed WGS to use them, meant anyone could buy one of the most OP spec weapons in the game and go running around with them at 60 attack and 1 defence. With them being a raids reward it gets rid of the aspect of even having to have completed every quest, at the time, to unlock the monsters to kill them. Here you can join a mass, go do raids and get a chance at an OP spec weapon drop.

If you want, I can keep going on but I think you get the point.

The point isn't to make the player suffer for wearing powerful armor. It literally DOES NOT MATTER if a player can take really powerful armor into a standard slayer task because they aren't dangerous anyway .
The point of degrading armor is two fold:
1) add a gold sink into the economy to combat inflation. This is the primary reason.
2) increase risk of dying with the armor on in scenarios where you can retrieve it.


That's it. 500k per hour will make the armor worthless. You aren't going to make 500k more per hour at any boss in the game because you're wearing this armor. That makes wearing the armor a net LOSS and makes equipping it nothing more than a show of wealth. The developers are listening, please choose your points carefully.

Fair point however i still think they should add them but just get alot more feedback from the community on them for example maybe have to actually do a raid to equip them or something.
