I just don't get why ppl keep complaining about the price of supplies.

1st : i think it's a good idea for ppl that doesnt like much training everything (like me) with artisan u will be able to grind there and there.

2nd : The game isn't just about buying supplies to grind your skills, there a thing called "DO IT YOURSELF!" . If you get a task that need 2k fire runes, just go and make them if you feel the price is to damn high. (if you get a runecrafting task, it mean u have the rc lvl to do it).

And btw, yes this is the non-combat verson of slayer. Ppl loves slayer because you can grind your combat skills and get rewards. Same thing with this new skill but with non-combat related skill. I dont see the problem.

any questions in a future poll will not be of the yes or no nature..like so many of our past votes they are designed to elicit answers favorable to the develp teams desires. questions shall be on the line of:

which feature of artisan skill do u like most ?
should idols be protected at what level ?
should tasks be able to be canceled ?
should we have different task masters ?

The list will be of this nature and have no bearing or option such as I voted no or none of the above.
Before any vote on particulars need to be voted on a simple Do you want artisan added as a skill...should be offered.
and anyone that has played for any length of time knows Jagex will never..never ever pose such a question.

What I want to see is different masters giving yo different tasks based on the type of skill you want to train. Each master would give you tasks suited to your level while giving the player the ability to decide the type of skill to train.
For example if you want to train something that doesn't cost money, you would go to the recourse master (mining and woodcutting), if you wanted to train something that gives 'quicker' XP then you would go to the (name here) master (herblore, construction, possibly smiting depending on the task) and lastly if you wanted to train a money maker, besides a recourse skill you could go to the (idk snoop dog) master and he would assign something that involves smiting bars or making runes.

hmm despite all the hate i actually think this skill is a ripper of an idea, and the more comments i read, the more of an idea i get on how this skill would work in the game. I love the idea of having a sort of slayer but for skilling, but that's just me, and ill be voting yes.
p.s. alot of you should be more appreciative of the jmods because i can guarantee you that there are not many game producers that are this interactive with the players and actually listen to their ideas...

I highly recommend that you implement agility clothing that gives double experience for the artistian skill. I was highly disappointed that the penance master horn (a reward from barbarian assault minigame) lost the ability to give the bonus xp in firemaking, agility, and woodcutting. Either implement the agility clothing that gives double experience, or please and I cannot stress this enough please bring the penenace master horn back to barbarian assault. Thanks and great new skill.
