Here's some more feedback (continuing from the previous page)

10) Include resource areas that require an artisan level to get into.

11) Make extensions to current Guilds that require higher levels and an Artisan level to enter. This would breath life into Guilds.

Advanced Mining Guild – 88 Mining + x Artisan
Advanced Cooking Guild – 80 Cooking + x Artisan
Advanced Fishing Guild – 85 Fishing + x Artisan
Advanced Crafting Guild – 82 Crafting + x Artisan
(These are rough numbers)

Advanced Mining Guild
Contains: 3 Runite, 12 Adamantite, 22 Mithril, 9 Iron (three triangle formations seperate from each other)

Advanced Cooking Guild
Bank next to a range. The range is a cook-o-matic 30, the latest and greatest in cooking technology. It functions similarly to the cook-o-matic 25 (Lumbridge range).

Food store that sells raw chompy, raw bear meat, raw rabbit, grapes, regular pizza, stew)

Advanced Fishing Guild
Contains fishing spots that never move.

Ability to catch sea turtles and manta rays (along with bass and other items) via big net fishing.

Advanced Crafting Guild
Contains a bank, 16 Gold rocks, 12 Silver rocks, 6 Gem rocks, a caged green dragon (telegrab for drops), a loom, spinning wheel, sand pit, seaweed spawns.

Second problem is the way Artisan is trained. I think it would be slightly better if it had more of an ironman feeling to it. I'm afraid that for most tasks (except for farming tasks) it would be a buyable and then this skill would become one big boring (and probably expensive) grind. Of course I don't know exactly what tasks you had in mind, but from the things I've read I'd expect it to be like this.

Yes, how about you have to gather your mats first and then produce them? Or you have to gather at least one of the ingredients..

Nah man those guilds are way too extreme.. I kind of like the idea of advanced guilds, but for sure they should not be this extreme. Maybe add a fishing spot that requires only 70 fish, but 80 Artisan to access and then you can fish a fish that heals 21 or so, something in that line.

Elemental rune might be interesting, but XP boosting (or what else do you mean with 5?) doesn't sound good to me.. Don't like your nr 7 and nr 9 suggestions very much

It's a 2.5% boost (with the entire outfit for said skill), similar to the Lumberjack Outfit/Prospector Outfit. I'm aware this is controversial.

I thought so, it is indeed in line with Lumberjack and Prospector outfit, but 2,5% bonus to woodcutting and mining cannot be compared to 2,5% bonus to Herblore or Crafting, because it is not only that you save time, but you also save ingredients, which means that you spend less time on preparing.

As a PVM/Boss type player I only skill to fund my boss trips.

Here's my take:

1) I like the idea of an idol that will give me an advantage against a gwd boss. (I like to solo)
2) I have already invested countless hours in all of my non-combat skills to fund my Bossing. I think there needs to be a way that benefits players who have already invested the time in skilling so they level faster (I have already suffered through having to build a new well-rounded character in old school).
3) I would like to see the skill have a limited impact on botting and merchanting. I feel they have a bit to much power over the economy. Possibly using non-tradable resources.
4) Pkers, which have a lot of influence on the community, a little too much imo, will never vote this in if it has an impact on them. They don't like change. So, make the skill have little to zero impact on them.

To sum it up, combat is 90% of what people play the game for. As a pvmer that means all I care about is Stronger bosses/challenges, and stronger gear to fight them.
Let the pkers have their own little world as long as I have mine. If you can find a way to make that happen, I think you would have a pretty good chance of getting this voted-in.

I'm going to vote no on this, Like said before i am just not excited about this skill. i will never see myself wanting to train this, I could see myself training engineering though. It would be awesome to create new weapons and Armour.
