can you imagine how much Magic logs would be if you couldn't burn food on them?

That's why I said maybe combined/ act as cooking gaunts, example 94 is the level to not burn sharks make it 87 or 90 while cooking on a magic fire while wearing gaunts. Also at this point in time gaunts don't work with monkfish that could be incorporated as a rework.
I think it would be a good idea if they burned out much faster, or maybe just a lowered chance of burning.
This was a response there was more suggestions on various skills but shorter burn time with the decrease of level req for not burning would work.

It's quite obvious that this isn't going to pass, and the only reason that this one was the "best" out of the five was that the other ones weren't so great. I think it would be cool to incorporate some sort of new way to train combat. For example, there's slayer to train your tasks how about something that incorporates what each part of the combat triangle has to offer. Something like absorption that connects to the hitpoints skill. Like the higher your hitpoints are the more damage you could soak up, which is similar to strength in that the higher your level is the more you hit. Possibly something linked to magic; for say, black magic (Yeah creative I know), but lets say ice barrage normally would freeze someone it could maybe hit more instead of freezing. For attack the only use in training it would be to wield new weapons. Maybe to make it more appealing we could incorporate weapon effects the higher the level you are. What I mean is, you've gotten to 75 attack, and after that it's completely useless to train it, well to balance melee with black magic it could be when you hit 85 attack the godsword you wield will have an additional effect, what? I don't know not anything to overpowered though. This would make for a bigger increase of people actually training the attack skill instead of just training strength. Next, ranged already isn't widely used other than maybe using void on people. Well, just like ancient magiks there could be a possible new quest that would have a ranged "spellbook" (not really) that could stun people for * seconds.
10 ranged-2 seconds
20 ranged 3-4 seconds
Etc...
And finally prayer, well I like piety and all, but what do I do after 70 prayer? There's nothing at all to make it worthwhile. This could be the "evolution of prayer" taking it one step to the next level. Nothing really in mind because prayer is too delicate to mess with like with the bones market.

...And Done

I'm a pker. Why would I want to train the Artisan skill? Why am I being forced to train other skills to train Artisan?

This idea sucks and seems halfassed, as most new updated things in OsRs have been since release. Private Server status.....sucks and not what I wanted when osrs came out.

My vote would have to be a no, reason(S) being:

1) there is nothing of value out of this for the community as a whole.
- Rewards.... SUCK
- rip off of slayer.... all I see is another very slow skill with the exact same
fundamentals of an existing skill.
- we want something original.... we are paying to play this game. (for the most
part) we dont want existing content to be tweaked and turned into a so called "skill" we want something new (areas, dungeons, money making, quests) not "go spin 199 flax into bow string)
