Doesnt sound like we will get to vote..they are already working on it.....so all that BS about players deciding direction is just that BS....

Anyone still believing they have a choice and is being honest would know you hold a vote before spending hours developing a skill....It is no different than the way they distroyed original runescape....


The final concept is going to be polled on the 18th so players will be able to have the final say.

this turned out better than expected, but i do think that it may need a few tweaks, but i'm sure the community will help with hose.
It seems like a non-combat slayer, and the better food, arrows, and rewards will be a nice addition.
Can we see some screenshots of what you have made so far?

Have you been around for most of the other big projects? They update along the way keeping a journal style log then we vote on that at the end.

That's why I said maybe combined/ act as cooking gaunts, example 94 is the level to not burn sharks make it 87 or 90 while cooking on a magic fire while wearing gaunts. Also at this point in time gaunts don't work with monkfish that could be incorporated as a rework.[/quote]
I think it would be a good idea if they burned out much faster, or maybe just a lowered chance of burning.

I can tolerate most updates, but I agree. I didn't come back to play a continuation of Rs2, I came back for Old School RS. A new skill is really crossing the line into what is not "old school". What a waste of time.

this is your opinion, my opinion that as long as the skill stays within the spirit of old school then it is all good.
Plus you have to remember that a large portion of platyers are here for the combat system, not really the old school feel as such.

I'm gonna vote no.
I might have voted yes if it would be a pking or astronomy skill instead.

Instead of spend time on this please focus on (by order of importance):
- Making f2p permanent to sustain the game on the long term
- Making the wilderness more active and rewarding for people who go there, making the npcs drop stuff that actually worth the time.
-And finally focus on getting cool content for the new land mass :D

I had to log in and input my 2 cents, I am not a pker, and I never have been a pker, however, a pking skill would get me ecstatic to play the game, that sound like it would be an awesome skill.

As for Artisan NO this skill seems lame, sorry..

I have a few questions.

With superior runecrafting, if we have the chance of double runes and had a high enough level for multiple runes of the rune we were making, say double natures, would the effect stack and we would get 4x nature runes? Also, would this effect work outside an artisan task, just runecrafting freely? Lastly, I just want to know if you can confirm the esoteric peices and outfit will increase this chance as it says and will wearing the full outfit (as well as for any other outfits) increase the chance even more? Like with the lumberjack and motherload mining outfits giving an extra xp bonus when wearing all peices.

I believe it is great for the OSRS community to have a voting system which allows the players to have a direct impact on the game.

It seems to me that a blank vote option is necessary to allow true feedback since it is impossible to have an opinion on every subject considering the amount of content in OSRS.

Why don’t the polls have a blank vote option?
