The prayers are still utter shit....

augury/rigour/preserve are fine

but cmon....
prayer instead of energy points? just get your gracefull with a stam pot and your fine, having to buy stupid 10k prayer pots for running around? dead content on launch.

Draining poison or venom damage from your prayer, same deal. Just get a antipotion for like 1/10th of the price of a prayer potion and that's that...

Please just skip these prayers and perhaps run a community idea contest or w/e for new prayers, perhaps to be added in a new prayer book unlocked by future elven quests or w/e?

I dont think that something needs to be added to almost entirely invalidate barrows gear, barrows gear is already alltogether at one of its most cheapest points since the start of rs, and adding these degradables would only further their depreciation. Basically were at the point of adding nex sets, which is something I would vote down absolutely.

I think rather than looking to release full new and stronger armour sets, to further the value of what we currently own, without hampering what we currently own, equipables should be rewards from raids instead. Maybe by killing a boss we could receive a bandos upgrade kit, which could not only change the style of the bandos chestplate or tassets, but also slightly increase their stats or create/offer an effect.

You make statements about dragon claws being too overpowered an item to be released and have refused to even entertain the idea of doing so, but you sit here basically almost recreating nex, but in a raid dungeon...

Do not be fooled about the hunger for cosmetic items either, yes we did just receive quiet a few from clues but the community always wants more, and while we're on the topic of adding considerably stronger armour into the game, maybe we should be looking at the divine spirit shield again. It could even be something that doesn't come from corporeal beast.

Maybe deep in the raid dungeon there could be a rare chance to come across an Elder Corporeal Spirit which would have a very slim chance of dropping one?

I also think something that should be brought up, is the clear lack of platinum tokens throughout the game, obviously they were originally released for the "rich mans trouble with max cash stacks".

But i think they can offer a small essence of diversity to the game.

After all adventurers do carry them, maybe in the dungeons they've died and lost them, maybe they can be found among other treasures while looting rare chests in these raids.

Something that I also feel has been left out is the advent

urous aspect of these raids. I know for a fact Indiana Jones never just made a left to a short exit, or went exactly back the way he came. There was always trial or a tribulation or something to overcome, sometimes exits are blocked, sometimes theres things to be gained or even things to be lost by choosing one way out rather than the other. Sometimes people choose a route to leave simply on intuition. This is something that I feel needs to be explored as well.

Something else left unexplained is, what are your intentions from adding these armors,
Your saying their degradable and lets say that the elder armor set is on a player, and taken to a trip to bandos with two other players, and lets say the armor lasts for 10 hours of combat. I know for a fact that there has been countless times where I have gone to bandos with teams sometimes even the same team, and spent 10 hours, and even more so worth of time and received absolutely nothing. Currently bandos Items are of a fair price. It is absolute that they will decrease in price with the release of these new armors.

So if I have to spend 2 mill on a chest, and lets say 1.5mill each on a helm and platelegs, is it really worth it to go to bandos for 10 hours with 3 people and only receive a bandos chestplate that may or may not even be worth 6 or 8 mill?

I can sort of understand the thought of adding these, but at least with rs3 when you guys added nex armors you had plans that in the future these strong armors would be used for even stronger bosses. Rs3 has: Vorago, Yakamaru, Araxxi, Kalphite King, Araxxor, Beastmaster Durzag, Wildywyrm, Nex, Cormes, Krar, Tuz, and the Queen Black Dragon.

All of these are epicly strong monsters that require these amazing armors and weapons, what are your future plans. That elder armor would even be necessary for? You can add the armors, but they still need a use?

And also, rs3 already has raids and degradable high tier armor, are we just copying rs3 now?...

Stronger armor is much more balanced than weapons with click to win buttons like claws. The fact that every d claw suggestion ever made on every source has gotten shot down every time is enough reason for them to not even entertain the idea of polling them.

The elder armors will obviously be used for raids as the bosses are meant to be the strongest that osrs offers. Look at pre eoc, did the next armors really have a strong impact on prices of gear like Bandos? From what I remember, no as things like bandos still had a significant place in the game.

Due to elder's repair costs and expense, things like bandos will maintain plenty of demand.
OSRS Mage Tank.

Believe magic to only be for support? Think again. It's just as valid of a Pking style as melee and range is.

Nex was released in january of 2011, and 13 months later the bcp was half the price it was at the release of nex. from 21.X mill to 10.X mill.

Our bcp is already cheap enough from oversaturation and lack of a sink. If these new armors are added its simply a matter of time until bcp is 3mill.

the funny thing is how everyone talks about how useless the new robes are and not having the dragon plate. You forgot about the most worthless update the dragon thrown axe. o nice a special that does next to nothing other than costing you the axe.

How about a poll for the raids first? I don't find one in the poll archives.
