Seems like a fun idea!

Why is there no competitive F2P mode? With weapons limited to rune it's less about who's lucky enough to find the best weapon and more about who has the best PvP skills. Shouldn't be too difficult to have 2 LMS ratings.

I'm also not sure about the entry-fee as it will put off players as well, especially since casual games have no reward at all. It would've been an opportunity to add tokens and introduce the old FoG gear back (Berserker Shields, Druidic Robes, Combat Robes, Rune Gauntlets).

Love the idea (I'm not much of a pvper but I'd play this for sure) BUT...


The advantage of having an entry fee for the competitive mode of Last Man Standing is that it allows us to offer big rewards for the winner and runner up. The winner of a game of competitive Last Man Standing will receive 1.5 million coins and the runner up will receive 500,000 coins.

Inflation isn't a worry as those coins come straight from the pocket of the players you just defeated. In fact, Last Man Standing will act as a gold sink, removing a sizable chunk of gold from Old School for every game that is played.


Okay... so this is good, no additional items in the game that de-value anything. But.... HOW? more information on the "gold sink" please. Does the mini-game take a 10% cut from any cash put in or something?


In addition to this, the players who come in 3rd, 4th and 5th place will receive a ticket allowing them free entry into another game of Last Man Standing.


Wait.... so its not going to be a money sink? How can it be a money sink if your offering free entry to paid games?

Why should people get max stats in a combat based minigame. That seems totally opposite what the game is about. It's not fair for someone to train their combat stats then be placed amongst the same combat people. There should be tiers for combat or some other randomly generated spawn that will pit you will people.

Also, how can you the team let castle wars go on being sabotaged for months and then suggest making a new game. They're not even paying attention to the old minigames and letting them fall apart due to a few people wanting to get a kick of sabotaging games all day.

This happens in castlewars every day and no punishment is issued for players sabotaging games, sometimes on alts.

Prefer you guys focus on fixing excisting minigames and making them more attractive.

Also prefer minigames like Soul Wars or Stealing Creation instead. They dont have to be 100% the same like they were pre-eoc aslong as they have the same core and offer the same type of gameplay.

Yes do it! But there should also be a batch of updates for current mini games that comes out with this. I've seen many great ideas and I'm sure you guys at Jagex have as well so the poll should include all mini game updates.. Nothing else.
Also an idea for the Battle Royale game I have is including the ability to choose a spell book before the match starts.

25 players enter. 100k each -> 2.5m entry fees across all players.

1st Player gets 1.5m and 2nd Player gets 500k. That's only 2m/2.5m returned to players = 500k leaving the game per LMS game. This theoretically becomes 200k since 3 free entry tickets are given across 3rd-5th placed players but they can only use those tickets for LMS rather than anything like the original GP.

However, I'd prefer if no free tickets were given since this game needs GP sinks and the more money leaving the better. Those free tickets will just reduce the amount of actual tickets being bought.
