Several problems
1. There is no incentive to attack other players: If the goal is to be last man standing, even if two people meet, odds are they will simply run from each other unless there is an incentive to attack - my suggestion - killing someone increases your stats and players drop a health pot upon death.
Seriously, this is simple game theory.
In its current state, Player A and B meet
If you attack, no matter what you are worse off - either your health is severely diminished or you are dead. Better to run away and let the others hack it out.
2: If three people get a free ticket, only 2.2M gold is collected per round, and 2M gold is distributed. This is hardly a cash sink as it only eliminates 200K for a 20 minute game that involves 25 players . . . Increase the buy-in, decrease the gold prizes, maybe offer new imbues, 2nd ring slot, cosmetic gear prizes instead??
3. The reward is hardly worthwhile: Let's face it, this game is still mostly luck, I doubt any player will even be able to achieve a 20% win rate and even at a an ABSURD 20% win rate, you're making ~ 800K / hour. Again, you're going to either have to increase the stakes A LOT or offer better, more useful prizes.
In its current state, this is really no different than fight pits except that there are no stat / gear advantages. And let's be real, nobody plays fight pits to make money, people play fight pits to show off their max gear . . .
