While reading through some of the responses to this, I realise the idea of having ranks gained similar to that of the big console shooter games would be awesome! People would play and play and play just to gain prestige while making some cash on the side and unlocking perks and other potential rewards along the way! Yes yes yes!

Sounds like the Japanese movie Battle Royale which is a great movie and what you most likely based this on (The name kind of gave it away haha)! Just a suggestion though, it was mentioned that the players will start with nothing when the round begins but did you consider taking in other factors of the movie (i.e. instead of starting with nothing how about giving each player a random weapon or runes to cast a spell)? This may also make the game more fast-paced and exciting than simply searching for weapons when the round begins. Either way i'm looking forward to this update it sounds fun!

I really like this idea.. This minigame would take a lot of skill to win consistently, and one could get into it on a new lvl 3 account. This means that players who do not want to grind a ton of levels can get right into a skillful, fair pvp mode and enjoy PVP instantly. This game doesn't have something equivalent. This biggest turn off for me is the barrier of entry to PVP.

Sounds Epic, but would be sick if there was like 3 different "games" that u can choose, 1 up to 100 players - 25k entry, 1 up to 50 players - 50k entry and one up to 25 players for a 100k entry or something like that.

Several problems

1. There is no incentive to attack other players: If the goal is to be last man standing, even if two people meet, odds are they will simply run from each other unless there is an incentive to attack - my suggestion - killing someone increases your stats and players drop a health pot upon death.

Seriously, this is simple game theory.
In its current state, Player A and B meet
If you attack, no matter what you are worse off - either your health is severely diminished or you are dead. Better to run away and let the others hack it out.

2: If three people get a free ticket, only 2.2M gold is collected per round, and 2M gold is distributed. This is hardly a cash sink as it only eliminates 200K for a 20 minute game that involves 25 players . . . Increase the buy-in, decrease the gold prizes, maybe offer new imbues, 2nd ring slot, cosmetic gear prizes instead??

3. The reward is hardly worthwhile: Let's face it, this game is still mostly luck, I doubt any player will even be able to achieve a 20% win rate and even at a an ABSURD 20% win rate, you're making ~ 800K / hour. Again, you're going to either have to increase the stakes A LOT or offer better, more useful prizes.

In its current state, this is really no different than fight pits except that there are no stat / gear advantages. And let's be real, nobody plays fight pits to make money, people play fight pits to show off their max gear . . .
